Do we know whats happening with the star system or whatevers replacing it? I have about 800 stars now but was planning on getting a wii u this summer...

no new games starting April 1 will come with codes anymore, you can still register codes you have until April 20, though. everything is closing on September 30 for good (everything dead by then). after that, the new service launches (which is the one they announced this week will be developed with DeNA and span everything they do from now on).

Uh... It didn't recognised download code for Minish Cap on Wii U. So I tried it on 3DS... and it worked!
I'm not sure what's happening but Minish Cap is on 3DS.

Edit: I think the guy above is trying to pull our leg. The site is back up and all the GBA games now have the Wii U logo.

I don't know what's happening but I did get Minish Cap on 3DS instead of Wii U. Maybe it was an error on Nintendo side, maybe Stars catalog has wrong description and these really are 3DS ambassador versions.

So for now - buy at your own risk, especially if you don't own both 3DS and Wii U, I guess.

Well, the fact I forgot I spent 3000 odd points on Wii points to get Super Mario Kart for the MK8 discount a while back is balanced out by the fact I've just found 15 codes amongst my physical games alone, plus the decent chunk of digital games I've not bothered to complete the survey on. Now just to decide what to grab. Thinking I may get Mario Tennis, and ALTTP if I've got enough left over.

Mario & Luigi never came out on 3DS in any shape or form. That is the Wii U GBA VC game.

TF isn't happening since Japan didn't get it and MK8 is their farewell OST, it appears.

Really? Hmm, may take a look into it, never looked too much into it beyond what I played on a 3DS demo unit and knew the old Golf games were standouts, didn't remember much about the Tennis ones.
