I wonder if there is something about 12 that makes it harder to remaster.
thats all i can think of. i would love to play 12 remastered.

You should see what EU and JP is getting.
That gorgeous steel book they're getting.
The website doesn't say anything about a steel book for the JP version...
Might be worth getting the re-master and going all out by beating the ten optional Dark Aeon battles, beat Penance, obtain all the celestial weapons ect ect
Basically make it your last play through for a long time and see everything in the process.
What does square have against ff12?

It's not that good.
I didn't bite on the PS3/Vita remaster, so I might bite here, but $50 for a remaster that was just remastered for the previous gen...ugh...come on SE.
yep. vita version > all others. for shame, se!...
(unless, of course the profits from this are going to be directly invested in a remastered version of ffxii )...
Wasn't there loads of internal debate?
So I assume this remaster has done well for them? Why no DQ8 or FFXII? Surely those wouldn't be that hard to remaster (particularly DQ8, which I don't think had CG cutscenes?).
The Vita version is the worst of the HD versions.
Everyone was extremely dissatisfied with Matsuno's direction iirc. And Matsuno probably didnt like having to change the main character. I think they didnt even really finish it. I think its one of the best FFs, as its alot different than the others and a bit more Shakespearean. Its a great change of pace for the series.
No 60 FPS in a PS2 game for $50? Pre-order just cancelled. Don't come with "60 FPS is not necessary" please.
I'll just play my old copy in PCSX2

They probably threw away the code. What does square have against ff12?
Holy cow at the potential quad dip gaffers...

Hard to know about the code, but I'm quite certain they kept the art assets. After all, many of 12's monsters have been repurposed for FF14.Like they did with KH?
They have actually done shit like this.Like they did with KH?

I'd be interested since it's been a century since I last played it, but I'm JP audio on JRPGs these days. I wonder how much it would actually cost to release it with them.
Doesn't this collection end with a?teaser of a X-3 game
?Think we'll ever see that
I think you mean a decade.
No dual audio is a big shame.
On the PS3 Japanese release they actually had the English subtitles hidden on the disc, only usable from a hacked PS3. It was comical.
