How is it that nobody is bothered by a 18-year-old game being sold for 70 dollars?

Say winning Digital Users 😜

Winning digital users? If I can get the PS5 physical disk version for 52 euro including shipping from a 100% legal online retailer and the cheapest price for the PC version from a shady key site is the same, it means we PC gamers aren't getting a great deal here.

Yet another reason to buy the physical copy. It’s only $89.99 (plus you can sell it later)!
Crazy.

Remember the the dot com days when anything sold via internet or digital were supposed to be cheaper as there werent brick and mortar costs to cover. lol. Those were the days.

I totally remember buying books and DVDs in the early 2000s and no doubt it was always cheaper than buying at a store. Now, online prices arent even good most of the time. The key benefit is convenience and variety. Most of the stuff on Amazon.ca is junk priced vs a grocery store or Best Buy. But Amazon got a lot of people accustomed to sitting back and buying online without caring what price it is. Digital gaming too.

It's nut. On Amazon, our company sells products that are literally DOUBLE the price of someone going to a store and buying it with their own two hands. At first everyone in the office thought it was insane as no consumer is that stupid. Guess what? Sales are huge, profits are huge, and Amazon is still growing faster than any other account. It sells fast enough we even sell out of product and cant supply them. Nobody doubts the Amazon account manager anymore on setting prices. We let them do what they want. It good too that their products are often higher priced than other retailers because none of the other guys will complain.

Btw, if you're a PC user you can grab it cheaper than Steam MSRP from cdkeys.

As for console, you can find the physical version of the game for around €50 - €60 on XSX/PS4/PS5 at various European retailers. Dunno about the US.
