The fact that their "hacking" consisted of DDoS attacks, it doesn't surprise me they are kids.

Common misconception but the hackers that big tech companies hire are ones who are good at finding security holes, not DDOSing. At most maybe they could have helped test Drive club with their skills.

If these guys could get hold of your details through their attempts than they wouldn't hesitate to release yours to the public. That's the sort of folks we're dealing with. I have zero sympathy for them Im afraid. They'd continue to do this and potentially get better at it.
Let's not forget as with the case here, as Nome has informed us, that it is degrading and psychologically damaging for their victims even if no actual ERT is dispatched.

Well the network necessary to DDoS doesn't come out of thin air.
Setting-up a DDoS that actually works on a big scale network isn't as easy as some make it sound.
Note that I'm not saying that DDoS is hard.
More of a ring than my word.
Also i wonder who payed for the servers to DDoS out the servers.....no way half those kids could afford it lol
