Pretty much this for me as well. Toss in iPhone for occasional quickplay on the go and I'm set.Gaming PC + Nintendo Console (and handheld) is an excellent way to go in my opinion.

GRAPHICS DO MATTER!
Dunno if my phone is making the screens look better than they actually are, but damn that looks slick!!
Graphics always mattered to Nintendo until Iwata started calling the shots.

Still haven't bought a full Nintendo game on my WiiU (not including Nintendoland packin). Cannot wait to start using it again. Looks great.
Super Mario Latex World? All screencaps look fantastic but in this one everything looks like it's made of cheap plastic.
Another Nintendo Wii U game with some spectacular lightning, I love the envelop it gives to the characters.
Eh, kinda not really. The N64 prioritized licensing and manufacturing fees over formats that would allow better textures and better presentation, the SNES had a pretty crappy processor, they kept the Gameboy going as long as they could without a generational leap because it was still selling well, and it was Yamauchi that proposed the lateral side step with the DS rather than creating a more graphically intensive Gameboy Advance to match the PSP.
Ohyou.jpgEasily the best looking next gen title so far.
these games look like shitty cg movies.
I'm just having fun. Everyone knows graphics matter (just read the responses itt) whether or not they'd like to admit itI alwayas enjoy nice graphics but i don't put them above Gameplay. If the Gameplay is good and the graphics suck its still a good game. If its the other way around you just have a nice looking turd.
What does that even mean? These pics and the latest trailer look great, but let's not go too overboard with the SMG3 meme that's been going around recently. This is more of a turbocharged SM3DL than anything approaching the Galaxy games.
What does that even mean?

You are an outlier, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I guess.Wii still had great looking games because of proper art direction. This does not even have that however. Very pitiful to look at.
Mario 3D World has roots in all previous Mario games. It both has its own identity, and is a Mario best of.It's not SMG3 as many people suggested.

And why the fuck does Mario look like a plastic figurine? ...
All I need is an unified account system, Nintendo. Just that and I'm in.

Advertise this right, and enjoy the holidays, Nintendo.
Looks fantastic.
Anyone think this level has to do with that Bowser Carnival world thats up in the sky?
I like all the screens except this one. Those trees. :/
What's wrong?
Gaming PC + Nintendo Console (and handheld) is an excellent way to go in my opinion.
What's wrong?
Maybe they hate conifers?
