Some footage I recorded from the PC version on Ultra. i7 2600k, 8GB RAM & GTX 970. The video might still be processing.
Looks great and thats without the full textures yet.

You mean the one where you slide and hit a single button to take down an enemy and then spam punch until they swing so you can counter?
Catalyst seems the same except without even a counter to add texture to the fights. I don't have beta to confirm how spammy and automated it looks, though.
Are there any opportunities to avoid combat in the demo, or to avoid the 3rd-person takedowns? The combat is very spammy. Against the normal guards anyway. Run up, mash a button, done.

If you have momentum you can actually just nudge the enemies out of the way and carry on running. There are instances of forced combat so I'm not sure how often you can do that in the full game. The only takedown I've encountered was the one right at the beginning during the tutorial so I'm not sure how frequent they are.
They haven't sent sign up codes yet apparently so don't give up hope!As expected, no code for me... :-(
What are the chances they send some more tomorrow? I live in Croatia so that usually sucks, even though we're EU.

Uh-oh, hope so! It's either that or waiting for Hitman update... or Overwatch Beta. I'm grasping at straws here lol.

Okay, so, I'm into this thing after researching a few more elements, and it's definitely not as bad as it seemed. They just didn't tell us a lot about how progression worked. You're able to unlock rolling, coiling, and quickturning in the first hour of play. Which is awesome.
After that...
I've been having some fun with the smaller details.
In the glass skyscraper, have you noticed you can skid your shoulder across the windows? It's hilarious. I wish there were oily shoulder marks or something.
Also, you can shift forwards constantly. It doesn't make you run faster, but it makes Faith sprint like she's a coked up The Flash. Combine that with glass streaking, and you're a hyperactive defacement extraordinaire.
