My ethernet port seems to have died for no apparent reason. Can't even test the connection, the console tells me to plug in a cable. Router light remains off when connected to the Xbox. I know it's not the cable/modem/router because it works fine if I unplug it from the 360 and plug it into a notebook or the PS3.
Any possibilities I might be overlooking?
I'm debating whether it's worth paying Microsoft 100 bucks to trade my 60GB Falcon - which works fine otherwise - for a refurbished one or if I should buy a 250GB slim already. Will I still need that stupid transfer kit to move content from a fat to a slim?
Also, in the meantime - I have some stuff in my download queue which I purchased before realising my ethernet port was dead. Is there anyway to download it to the PC and move it to the Xbox via USB?
Thanks.
