A most epic OT.

I'm still deciding if I should get this and on what platform, I have both 360 and PS3 but every other storm game I've played is on 360.

I don't really mind which platform though and good thing the pre-order costumes suck in this game.

Curious, any good gameplay vids of the new combat mechanics such as counters around?

I'm surprised this has an OT.

I keep telling myself I shouldn't get this, but I want to play as Mifune and have my girl Tenten (both of them) backing him up.

Is the GAF community active when it comes to these games?

And is it possible to buy this digitally on PSN?

This game stil isn't out?! I feel like I've been hearing about it for a very very long time now. I thought they usually dropped new Naruto games around Spring time?

The DLC for Storm 3 was announced only a few months before Revolution was announced I guess.

> Anko still isnt playable.

Sigh

Preorder cancelled

I joke but seriously the only game I remember her being playable was ultimate ninja 4(?) which sucks because she's one of my faves. Looking forward to this although might get a little forgotten because of Destiny

Those samurai outfits are hot.

Don't know if I'll be there day 1, but I'll be there eventually.
Tag team jutsus look amazing.

And still no Sound 4.
Come on...

And yet people like Iruka and Konohamaru are playable.

I am not getting it this time. I have gotten all the others at launch, but they always drop in price quickly. Besides, from what I played of the demo, I didn't really like/understand the new battle system.

Hopefully Storm 4 will be on PS4.

Great OT, OP. Didn't think this was going to be made!

Won't be getting the game this time around simply because CC2 are asshats. Likely that they'll pull a "full burst" and add
Juubito/Obuubi
as DLC.

I've bought them all on launch as well...just going to rent this one (maybe). For some reason I can't get myself excited for this one even though I played the demo. I'm probably burnt out on the series. Really wish that Kurenai's playable. Oh well.

I think it's an expansion with a tournament story mode and Akatsuki story.

Is that list of stages confirmed?

Training Stage (Evening) and Hidden Leaf Forest (Evening) are back?

They had some of the best music in the series, but other places say they're not returning this game.

I can't wait! The last game went a bit further into the story than I've gotten with the anime. I imagine this one will go way further. In the end, I look forward to it! The game presented a lot of moments far better than the anime.

You're going to be disappointed if Generations is anything to go by (and I assume it is from everything we've seen). There won't be much canon story in this one. They're littering it with backstory and sidestories, seems like.

Is there Story Mode Boss Battles similar to the main Storm entries or it's a rather poor one like Generations?

Well darnit. Glad you said something. I'll probably still give a play at least. Just might be a rental now.

Ugh this game has the free run mode from Storm 3 again. That is the worst part of these games because it's so tedious without a run button.

The new characters and side stories look fun though so I might get this Day 1.

To echo, I really do wish free run had a freaking run button. That brisk dash is too damn slow.

It's from the manga/anime (and in a cutscene in Ninja Storm). Naruto is telling Sasuke they could've easily swapped places and they show Sasuke/Naruto in each other's clothes.

I don't have access to it but they don't. The only thing switched is the rasengan and chidori, not their clothes.

I'm not sure if I should preorder this. The edo kages are finally playable and I like that poster. But I'm also looking at a PS4 as well. Does the samurai pack included in the NA version or am I reading this wrong?

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
It's kind of hard to get excited for this when there's barely anything new. Ninja tourney looks alright, and Obito and the Edo Kage are pretty cool, but not like... $60 worth of cool.

I hope it is included!

I look forward to losing to all of you online, my PSN is Chille

Believes Dragon Quest is a franchise managed by Sony
Be warned, there are no typical CC2 balls to the wall cutscenes in this game, except for the opening. Instead its pierrot doing the anime cutscenes for the Akatsuki and Shusui plotlines.

If your looking for a full fat storyline with tons of new characters and manga stuff ala the numbered entrees, your going to have to wait until the final game(which has basically been all but confirmed by CC2/Namco Bandai as next(cross?) gen for next year.

They'll probably include "The Last" characters in that one too. Maybe even the whole movie plotline too.

Assumed, but the way Japan is going it'll probably be cross-gen.

I get the feeling that CC2 are working on huge upgrades to their engine for the next gen. They did the same after the PS2 era of ultimate ninja games.

By the time they announce their next game, they'll have had the PS4 hardware in their possession for more than 2 years, as they were on the screen at the PS4 reveal last year that showed which studios were working on PS4 games.

I can't even imagine what it'll look like..
