This means we'll probably see the 1080ti in the fall with slight price adjustments across the 1060/1070/1080.

Titans are so fucking overpriced, I envy/pity those that purchase it, but without any real judgment attached. I'll probably wait and purchase a 1080ti 2 or 3 years down the line. Currently rockin the 980ti and it's plenty for my current PC/VR needs.

Thanks for your pity.

That is one tasty card. Just had to see this the day my 1070 SC arrives... :( Oh well 1200 is insane anyway.

This is a hobby card for graphics enthusiasts that enjoy the thrill of the best.

Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, it crushes me that there is a market for this as I'm pretty sure the 1080ti is going to outperform it when it releases for about half it's price. In a few months from now no less...

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
It can't be "Titan with half memory and a couple of cores disabled" like the last two unless the ti somehow winds up with 6GB. A souped up 1080 on GP104 seems more likely if they even decide to have one this time around.

Yeah, and 10GB would require a configuration similar to the 970 and 660 Ti before it, where the additional memory is connected to a slower bus.

The GeForce GTX Titan X (Pascal) is based on the latest GP102 GPU core. This isn’t the GP100 GPU but a derived version of the same core built and optimized for gamers. Since GP100 utilizes NVLINK, the GP102 GPU has been made to perform best with PCI-Express based platforms, especially the GeForce market. it doesn’t means that consumers won’t get an HBM2 based graphics card down in the roadmap. Actually, a HBM2 variant for GeForce market is planned for next year.

Titan XXX in February, mark my words.

Actually I am surprised it's only 1200 dollars all things considering.
This is the ultimate 1080p card right?

I can't tell if you are joking but, I got a 1070 last week and I am fine for any 1080p game for awhile and can probably do some 1440p stuff.

Try running Rise of the Tomb Raider with everything maxxed out on that card.

damn, nvidia dropping bombs left and right :O

YOU GUYS DONT NEED HBM. Compression algorithms are much more important!

AFAIK, HBM 1 and 2 are a bust because of the power requirements, HBM3 is the only one that can save this architecture

this will be the inevitable followup to the GTX 1080. who knows when it will come out, but they have basically a ready made follow-up already in the can with HBMX ready to go.
