Haha, they tried to pull that shit on me as a kid too, I named like every Pokemon and then they asked how many books of the bible I could name. I got all of em except 3, and it was mostly in order.

Isn't this the series where Attract and Captivate will fail if used on the same sex? And breeding only works with opposite genders, otherwise they will "prefer to play with others". If anything, Pokémon is promoting the exact opposite. Alas, crazy people will often ignore reason....

1) His last name is "Dollar" and he asked for $65 million for a Gulfstream to 'send supplies and food for mission work.' Those jets aren't designed for that. That should tell you his mentality right there.
2) Nothing of what he alleges has any basis in reality.

For whatever reason, Georgia attracts all sorts of religious crazy people. We got Eddie Long, this guy, those people building pyramids in Macon, GA, the Southern Baptist Convention, our governor, you name it.

As both a Christian and a straight man, and I can say that my years of playing Pokemon had little to no bearing on my sexuality or my growth in God's Word. I think if he wanted to highlight the danger of idolatry or something that would be one thing... But this? Then again his theology goes against many things that the Bible teaches that I'm not surprised this is the case. Just think it continues to perpetuate negative stereotypes. >_>

Obviously. Demonizing a choice seems less unjustifiable than demonizing something you're born with, so assigning environmental and choice factors to homosexuality is pretty much homophobia 101.

Also, taking religious advice from someone named Dollar seems hilarious in so many ways. :D

The Pokemon trainers nowadays appear to be around 16, but honestly they've always looked a little older than "10". Even Ash in the anime.
