Not sure if he has space with all the stuff he's put up. But amazing music is definitely one of the defining parts of Tekken. :)
It sure is. Shame about the dubstep track in TTT2 though :(

There is such a thing as GOOD dubstep. The TTT2 track is pretty cool, but I understand some peeps just hate it all regardless, much like I dislike all country music I've been exposed to.

Wish I had an arcade around me for this game so much. Most hyped fighter of 2012 for me.

:(

Needs more hype with the music ;)

I'm all ears brother, just give me whatever you want up there and I'dd add it :D Going by history, it took about one year after the original arcade release for them to sell the soundtrack, so it'll be a while before we get the complete tracks.

That's probably one of these best tracks the entire ost has to offer.

I think most of the samples are all found here:

Which were the best arcade stick for Tekken on PS3 again? Hori? The one in the Arcade Stick Edition?

Psh, just invest in a TE stick imo. Plus for Tekken, it's already equipped with a square gate which is ideal for Tekken play. :)

You guys be sure to share the love with Akitaha Tohyama on his twitter! http://twitter.com/#!/AJURIKA

I tweeted a message to him once about how much I loved the TTT1 character select and he responded! ;)

Will TTT2 actually be 720p on the consoles?
We shall see when Prologue hits this holiday :)

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is destined to fail without Kunimitsu.

I don't understand this appeal for wanting Kunimitsu in. We already have a far superior Yoshimitsu.

Harada is considering adding her and Michelle in the console port.

EDIT: Tweet post

The best stage for TTT2 is the fishing boat stage also the music is really good for that stage as well.

I got play a decent amount of e3/comic-con build and there are some changes to lili that people might like or dislike.

Very nice thread. I've always been more of a Soulcalibur head, but I've been meaning to get back into Tekken (last game I played in-depth was TTT1).

Maybe it's fitting that TTT2 may be the game that finally gets me back in the fold. And I'm honestly looking forward more to TxSF than I am Capcom's counterpart.

That was my exact mentality making this thread! So all you fighting game fans wanting to get back into Tekken, feel free to look at all the info in the OP and ask away if you guys need extra clarity :)

Is TTT HD getting released on PSN separate from that Hybrid Blu-Ray package? I have been wanting them to do that for years.

Tekken 3 was the point where some people lost interest in the series due to Eddy (and haven't played it since then) while others became heavily invested in the series. There is this stigma attached with Tekken that it is only button-mashing. Yet the people who say this haven't played the games in depth. Tekken 6 being the most recent has truly one of the deepest and most satisfying fighting systems created yet. In any case, it's one of Namco's best selling franchises and that's probably why we're seeing so much Tekken right now. The shift to Nintendo platforms should also help generate a lot more interest and fans whenever the 3DS and Wii U versions release.

Greatest series on the face of the urf. United States of Mach Breaker

The only reason I care about TGS 2011 is the fact that I saw the word "Tekken" thrown in there somewhere

Great OP! I've loved the Tekken series since day one, we played the hell out of that back in EA QA - that, Twisted Metal and Destruction Derby. Tekken 3 was the first time I was able to make my roommate rage quit so bad (cheesed him for two Perfects with Eddy) that he threw a glass of milk off our balcony at 4 am and stormed out. Didn't see him for 2 hours, bwahaha.

I can't wait to play the revamped TTT. Shame about the lack of online play, but I'll persevere somehow. It also was home to gaming's GREATEST credits music ever. Period.

Love me some Tekken.

OP is awesome, but where did you get this information from?

Concensus with the reception of those who saw it is that if you like the typical school girl slice of life style Anime stories with a little bit of CGI action-porn in between, you’ll enjoy the movie. You won’t find a whole film centered on badass Mishima’s killing one another (which really is what the fans actually wanted) but you will get some entertainment out of it if you've been following the series previously.

I saw the movie in theaters, and as a fan of both Tekken and "the typical school girl slice of life style Anime stories", I thought it was absolutely horrid. The entire theater was laughing at how ridiculous the movie was, and that wasn't a good thing.

Out of all the people I know who saw the movie, only two of them liked it. That's out of at least 20 or 30 people.

Read the TZ.com thread in the Chit Chat forum. LOL. I guess the minority that liked it was a bit more vocal.

Really great op man

Good heavens, that's a lot of Tekken. Great OP.

I really like the new designs for Devil Kazuya and Devil Jin. I'm still hoping that with the console version of TTT2 that they'll include the few remaining missing characters. (Michelle, Alex, Kunimitsu, Dr. B, Combot, etc.)

It would be great to have a Tekken with every single character.

Great job on the OP.

I'm giving Tekken 6 another shot and it feels good to get back into the groove again. Originally I was very disappointed with it but now I remember it was just because of the Scenario Mode. Curse the person who decided that you have to play through that rubbish in order to unlock the opportunity to get the character ending movies.
