I think we'll survive having one show on the network that serves the right audience.
I think Sam/MDE goes wherever they can get a wide range of responses -- from people becoming obsessed and absorbing their identity into their material or people decrying them as neo-Nazi's with a cable show. Sam attempts to get to the "deepest" level of comedy through 100 levels of irony but in the end he really is just a troll who likes to agitate, the most normal of all (and it's usually really good).
Yeah, I fully expect South Park's view next season to be the whole "neither candidate is a good candidate" thing, tbh. I'll still enjoy it, despite finding that particular view fallacious, because it's almost like people can be funny and even sometimes socially on-point despite not agreeing with your every view or something.
I'm more talking about South Park than MDE at this point. I don't really know what to think about that. But sheesh with the alt-right shit. Save it for the actual alt-right.

Let's rephrase the question, then; Would your advertisers, affiliates and anyone else you depend on to keep your company running be okay with you producing and airing a show on your network that you knew was run and supported by racists?

Well, there is an alt-right on the internet, part of that movement has been part of harassment campaigns, part of it is just doing it because it's funny, and part of it is starting to bleed into real life politics.
Every liberal looking at stuff that doesn't ideologically fit in with their narrative and saying "that's alt-right" is new to this campaign though, and troubling.
Yeah. Historically the show has tried to paint itself as the king of braindead centrism. But when you dedicate an entire season to "political correctness run amok!", it's hard not to come to new conclusions about about where the show leans.

Adult Swim had his endorsement of Trump on their front page for a few days, maybe they really are starting to embrace the alt-right.
