Happens to a lot of folks over time. Much like a relationship, you change, GAF changes, the good things don't do anything for you anymore and each problem grates on you more and more.

I'll happily point the finger at Jakncoke. The NFL threads were infested with posts by him with nothing but lol smilies in response to other posts. Evilore got rid of it and banned him for something like two weeks right before the Super Bowl. he would be like the Achievement Unlocked of gaf. If you created a really good gif or made a killer post, you would be greeted with the gaf equivalent of 200p Xbox Achievement, the triple lol - and really good ones would get several consecutive posts with them:

The whole Dyack saga was hilariously surreal. At one point he was on 1up Yours and made this remark:

It really sucked that no one on that show called him out on the bullshit he was spewing. Should have got Shawn Elliot or someone in who would have been willing to do more than just sit back.
