Awaiting Digital Foundry analysis.
a few days ago for me, but this still stings if its true. Some of the worst lag ive seen in a big budget game in recent times in some areas.
Is the glitch is when you have the blood moon more than once in one night? That just happened to me. I wasn't in a good area for that to happen neither.
Full Update Changelog?
Someone ought to test knocking a moblin over. That was also a 100% repeatable huge frame skip / drop.
This seems like an unnecessarily complicated way of doing spoiler tags.
Really?
Strangely, I rarely encountered this. I know exactly what you're talking about, and it was bad when it came up, but I couldn't seem to trigger it often or on purpose. Dunno why, maybe I never knew exactly what caused it in the first place?

thought the framerate was comparable on both, just that switch was slightly better resolution?
I'm undocked and I'd definitely getting less dips in the Korok Forest.
Gonna try the Plateau.
Definitely not. From what I've seen, Kakariko and Hateno actually managed to hit a decent 30FPS on Switch, playing fully on Wii U, those areas literally never seem to hit 30. It's chop city in any village. The Rito Village also is sub 30 Without a doubt and I've seen it run smooth on Switch.
Can't find one, if one does appear I will add to the OP.
yes. It was worse than FFXV and Bloodborne, and I already had issues with some of the performance in those.
kvakarikodoesn't seem to have any frame rate issues nowillage
It's when docked that the drops were at their worst. Also around the first. Has anyone tried those areas? I guess I could get off my toosh and load it up.Great Fairy
Now all Nintendo has to do for the docked version is increasethe resolution to 1080p, and maybe double and lock the framerate to 60fps.
Just tried the Korok forest, it still runs like trash, just less than before.
Is this a joke?
Yes, when you teleport to the shrine and enter the "village" it's better, but you just need to get a little close to theand the frame drops to the 20s again.Master Sword stone
There's definitely still framerate issues, but they're far, far less severe (at least in undocked mode, no idea about docked).

Of course
not. Maybe they can get rid of the dynamic resolution and make it a solid 720p handheld and solid 900p in docked, or the latter at least.
I guess I feel like after surviving Blighttown, anything better feels palatable.
