The only way this "no pre-owned games" thing is going to work is if account systems are incredibly mobile. Say Xbox3 has a way to communicate with smart phones and your friend can come over and auto-login and insert their game. Otherwise, FAIL.

If the specs remain the same then it would solidify rumors as gospel for many ppl as "controlled leaks". If the specs change then ppl would say they were manufactured and orchestrated to bait the other to do this or that. It also won't look good for the "journalistic integrity" of some outlets. Changes, even moderate ones would be interesting for the resulting drama though.
I really think there is disinformation being handed out on both sides. Will not be surprised if we have plenty of unexpected Specs coming from Sony and MS.
That said it just isn't as straight forward as the US market. I believe my Xbox packaging has 13 languages on its back

That's a lot of resources dedicated to the OS and other stuff. I can't see it actually eating up that much.
I fear Kinect will almost be certainly packed into the box. Unnecessary waste of price overhead on hardware.

Since the dual shock 4 seems to have built in move functionality there will almost certainly be some sort of camera of sorts packed into every PS4.
My interest in the PS4 has gone down as a result of this.

Not really, all we know is the SDK documents refer to a new camera. All Playstation cameras have been add-ons and no rumors suggest otherwise at this point. We will know for sure in a few days.

Having now read that quote, it strikes me as odd.
Typically on competing projects like this a company would institute a "Chinese Wall" between teams.
This is even more relevant considering what occurred with the Cell PPU and Xenon.
I have a feeling based off the Dev kit pics it will be built into the console. Doesn't bother me one bit. There will be the motion gaming audience and us who like our platinum type games and glorious fps's plus the RPG's thrown in for the love.
The issue is, as brain_stew said, that often the people feeding the information in the first place sometimes misinterpret it. Sometimes it's quite clear, sometimes it isn't as clear. Especially in regards to launch documentation.

I don't believe that the light bar has to do with Move. Regardless, including a $0.50 light bar does not mean a $50 camera is built in.
