If I remember you just lose the progress since your last save (ghost house, switch palace, fortress, or castle). There are save states now with VC though so if you are in trouble you can create one.

I haven't been following the goings on in this thread. What's this about eating coins? I think it happened to me when I tried to register Smash Bros U. Says it's already been registered but it didn't add the coins. And I haven't been able to add other 3DS games today either.

That happened to me last week with Bayonetta 2 and W101... told me both PINs were already registered, then it booted me to the maintenance page.

But when everything was available again I saw two 60-coin surveys in my to-do list... so it turned out just fine

You can always contact Nintendo telling them your codes were already used by someone else.
You will probably need proof of that (a picture of the ticket and both games) and your NNID so they can retrieve those coins back for you.

I never made a NNID because I can't change the country, and bought them online. ALBW on Toysrus so I could show proof, but LM I don't even remember, probably eBay.

Basically something like:

The VC version of Majora's Mask is still arguably the best version, even when you consider the remake. I personally consider it the definitive version of the game, since I felt a lot of the changes they made in the remake detracted from the overall experience, so yeah, probably not a colossal waste of money if he's at all interested in the game.

For anyone who ordered a reward and it glitched and got a duplicate... Contact Nintendo. I used the webform. I ordered the Animal Crossing cards twice (because the system glitched) and contacted them saying just that. Took almost two weeks but they cancelled the duplicate order and gave me my 600 coins back finally was able to order the Zelda pouch.

So... it's doable, just might take a little while. For codes I think it works the same, just don't use the second code.

I have one registered and got serial numbers for 2 others but anytime I try and register them it says I have already registered this system, even though these specific ones don't show in my registered products.
