Man Kyle was bogging down topics a lot in GT time instead of moving things along like he normally does. Especially the hitman discussion and then they game fund discussion which was supposed to be just a fun "what game do you want to resurrect"

I thought the ME:A/SW bet stakes were lame... Until Ians reaction to it. Now I'm hoping Bosman wins and we get to see him design the character like he did on Fallout 4.

I don't know how Nintendo thinks, no one knows how Nintendo thinks, but whether or not Pokemon comes to consoles probably depends entirely on how they feel their console business is doing.

There's a box at Nintendo that says "Break glass in case of emergency" on it, and console Pokemon is the thing behind the glass. They don't want to do it because that isn't what Pokemon 'is' and it would make a ton of fans angry, because that's how fans work, but they'll do it if they have to. They aren't at the glass-breaking point yet, but they're probably nervously eyeing that direction. It'ss impossible to tell if they're gonna go with "Bust this shit out now, we can't risk another sub-Dreamcast level disaster" or wait until that disaster strikes and try to play catch up with their ace in the hole.

Tangentially related, it's 2016. There's no reason for them to not launch with one of these:

"Are they or are they not making Metroid" isn't a fun conversation any more. Nintendo is one of the biggest game companies in the world and has making games for 30 years now with some of the best IP on the planet. They should be able to hit a rhythm at this point.

Hahaha, even the negative Bosman narrative regarding starfox has reached Brandon (and he was one of the ones that liked what he played) in last night's GT time.

I know it's not the same as what bloodworth described last night, but Nintendo still does sell discounted inventory on their website as refurbished (games/systems/accessories).

I understand that they need something to talk about but I dislike when the gaming media discuss games that they have no information on. It's one thing to speculate, it is another when you say things with such conviction even with no evidence to support it.

Edit: Brandon was also right about Pokémon. Nintendo controls where the mainline entries go, owns the name 'Pokémon', and the Pokémon company does not develop the mainline entries but game freak does.

So I was searching for the Final Bosman' First Season Finale (aka 2013 Bossy Awards) and it was not up on YouTube. Just realized that some of is first videos are missing as well. What's up with that? Do you guys plan to add then?

I would get a big budget RTS made. They basically dont exist anymore outside of starcraft.

Then maybe a bunch of lawyers and FROM and see how close we can get to star wars without being sued.

As a big Tenchu/Tenchu 2 fan.
You'd want Acquire, more than FROM, to do another Tenchu.
Especially since ShinobiDo was a great spiritual successor.

And sure, Tenchu 4 was a turd, but i blame the waggle Wii gimmick for that.

So I can now say I'm officially caught up with the uploads. Again, if anyone wants something from the twitch highlights section uploaded that isn't up on their YT channel already, just let me know.

I will be keeping up the uploads from this point forward, stuff they're obviously going to put up on their channel later (like the full playthroughs or GT Live videos) and just may take a day or 2 to put up for them, I won't be uploading, but stuff like dumb game monday, and other various streams throughout the week that don't usually make it to their YT channels, I will try to upload the same day if possible.

Watched some of the resident evil 5 playthroughs. It looked like it was a really good time. Feel bad that the guys TV lag was giving them a hard time with the QTEs.
Wish I could coop some games with my friends but we're into different genres.

You're right. It was a poor choice of words on my part. Nintendo handles production and development, has oversight of the games, and assists gamefreak with development. They directly funded several/majority of the games (in my view they have just as much to do with the ip as the Pokémon company does). I would say that they are very much involved with the Pokémon ip.

Looooved this GT Time. I really want more long episodes, I still think an hour is way too short.

As for the question, I thought about it for a second and I can say without a doubt in my mind that a remake of Sonic Adventure is something I'd dump an absurd amount of money into getting made, lol. It's a game that doesn't hold up, but one I really love a lot nonetheless. Revisiting it with new eyes might bring a tear to my eye and I'm not ashamed to admit that lmao


Edit - OH also is there anywhere I can watch the Monopoly stream because I missed that and I love those games

That's great. The Giantbomb Unarchived YT channel provides a huge boon to that community, if you're doing the same for GT, that's just fantastic.

Love this version of man ups. It's morphed into the GT OT show and it's great to see them interact in a more casual manner without focusing just on games. Oh and Opinion Yell is funny every time

LOVED the Gilmore Girls talk. Amazing show!

Also, what time do they record this show? Late night i guess cause Huber and Bossy look like they're about to fall asleep any second.

The sexy anime statue segment was funny, if they went to the house of someone with a bluray collection of porn movies, they'd probably have a stroke, i assume, lol.

Also Ben's impression of trying to pick up an object in Witcher 3 was amazing (W3 still GOTY over Bloodborne, tho).

I'm still waiting for it to return. Hell, even a throwaway episode of Fiasco just to tide us over would be fantastic; I know that they've mentioned that people don't seem to enjoy Fiasco, but I loved a good majority of them, especially what I've called the 'classics' (Vegas, Western, and the absolutely affable Max Speed).

Hopefully they find a meaningful way to circumvent Pervince not being there, or they're able to get Elise to come in when she's not too too busy with Funhaus.
