PES was the better game at some point. It changed shortly after they started using the year in the name. I am saying that as someone who has no horse n this rave, because it has been a while since I bought a football game. I do pretty much always check out the demos though.

Fifa used to be awful and pro evo was the fans choice back on play station and early ps2. Some point around the millenium (I want to say euro 2000 was the first game with major changes) EA decided they wanted to compete. Fifa has been making incremental changes every year since but the konami game seemed to get worse every year.

that was absolutely the case on ps2, it was much better than fifa and kept getting better, but they faded when they had to move to ps3/360 whereas fifa improved a lot. pro evo almost outsold fifa at its best too, it was pretty impressive given the ea marketing behemoth and the full licence advantage.

The Pro Evo games on the Wii are the best (non-football manager) football games available.

Are you using adblock? Destructoid has ads on the top bar, ads on the sidebar, and "sponsored content" in the main section with all of their articles. They're everywhere. And the entire top half of IGN is a flash ad, plus its background.

The 24-Hour Halo Marathon is the only archived GB content I never watched - is it worth watching.

I have the whole thing set to download (10GB+) and wondering should I?

Don't blame him.

I was basically raised on bad FMV games, but this is trying way too hard and failing miserably.

EDIT: Reminds me a bit of Mega64's stuff. Probably why I dislike it so much.
