I actually couldn't get more than 3-4 players for modes outside free roam. This was back in April.

2 days ago I got a full room of Last Man Standing. I guess it's about luck and all.

Are we still expecting a single-player expansion a la Undead Nightmare, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony?

Is Sony really not going to release a GTA V Bundle in America? That would just be absolutely insane. Nov 18, right before Black Friday would sell so many PS4s. Seriously, what is up with SCEA and bundles? It just feels so late, if they were going to announce a bundle they would have done it already.

I don't even get how bundles sell much. What's the benefit when it's a regular edition system and the price is no better?

Advertisement, think about it, this game sold 34 million units. If Sony advertises this again, which I'm sure they still have the exclusive advertisement, it would sell so much because of casuals. They would be asking their parents for this for Christmas etc. This would sell like hotcakes because of the holidays.

They've said that single-player DLC is in the works, but no word on when it'll come out.

White PS4 + GTA V would be sweet.

There'll be another trailer in a couple weeks probably. If not, there'll be a launch trailer a week before release.
Yeah I would agree, too. The marketing has been pretty soft so far, they really need to do more trailers, previews, update the website, or at least start banner ads. They could use a better trailer highlighting either the story with the upgrades or just the upgrades -- the last Strangers & Freaks trailer showing off old (but often missed) content was easily one of their worst trailers. Last free DLC was pretty bad, too, by their usual standards. Makes me think both we just to buy time for something else that most of their team was working on.

Move support yeah! Hopefully guns use the Sony Move and gun handle accessory...that would reduce my age handicap. If true it should also make the game more attractive to casual gamers.....

Notice as speculated it supports Share Play. Nov 18 release for PS4 which is a "Firmware update tuesday".

In my opinion GTAV Plus SharePlay Plus Move Controller makes this a system seller this holiday.

yep, just no idea on what scale it will be as they did say it wont be on the same scale as GTA IV DLC I can't find the link where I read it, was before the game came out).

I hope they go back to the 80's, i think rockstar's satire of modern day culture is getting pretty tiring, they could make a more thematically interesting game if they set it in a different era again. My money would be on gta6 taking place in modern day vice city though.

I´m 85% percent sure the next GTA will be in ViceCity during the 80s again.

2 cities and the everglades.

Miami - drugs
Tampa (clearwater) - religious freaks

Yes, my guess is it will have something to so with the casino.

Next guess: You will be an illegal Mexican immigrant working as a bodyguard/ hitman for the owner of the casino.

It will not happen.

I would bet my house on a present day setting.

Anyway, why do people want to go back to the 80's again?

Modern-day Florida, that would be way more interesting.

Why not Vice City in 2003?

When they release it in like 2017-2018 the setting will be 15 years in the past. Like in San Andreas when it was released.

Darn. The Ballad of Gay Tony and Undead Nightmare were amazing huge campaigns for DLC.

Because the setting plus the music makes it awesome.

So far Vice City has the best soundtrack of all GTA games.

I´m 85% sure that you are wrong.

They said that Vice City technically exists in the HD GTA universe thanks to references, but it would feel strange to go back there outside of the 80s because Vice City depended so heavily on not just setting, but the 80s era: http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming...-gamer-culture-with-rockstars-leslie-benzies/

and how can you be so sure?

Gut feeling.

I think that they are going back to VC is basically a no-brainer.

Going back to the MiamiVice era seems like a safe bet because everybody loved it and loved the soundtrack.

I also believe the 80s are something the Housers want to go back to.

EDIT: Here is the exact quote from Leslie (Thanks CannonO)

Any chance that Vice City might return in a future GTA?
It is always a possibility. There are a few references to the city in our current-gen GTAs so it is part of that HD universe, and it is certainly somewhere we would love to revisit. However Vice City, perhaps more than any other GTA game, was as much about the era as the setting. Miami in the 1980’s is so iconic it would feel strange to revisit the city in a different time period.

I was going to rant about how overrated the Vice City soundtrack is in terms of video game soundtracks, but then I read your post again and saw that you specifically meant the GTA games and with that, I completely agree with you. I've been replaying GTA 4 with my GF (first time for her) and I can't stress enough how disappointing the soundtrack in the game is. It's like they didn't even try or they didn't have enough budget left to license some good songs (after wasting money for Karl Lagerfeld and Ricky Gervais). I haven't looked into 5's soundtrack yet and I hope they did a much better job.

I also believe that Vice City will be the next game, whether its still set in the 80's or not i don't know but i'm pretty certain we will go back to Vice City next game.

A present day Vice City would probably be kinda "meh". But IDK what they would do with another iteration of Vice City set in the 80s that wouldn't just be a retread of the old, Scarface inspired version and the 80s cocaine boom that went through Miami. Granted Vice City is my least liked GTA city since the series went 3D so I'm not that interested in revisiting it in the first place even if it would be very different. I'd rather have a brand new area and city or even at least a place with more varied environment beyond mostly flat land and swamp land.

Hell, make it a south east based region with another city or two (say based off Atlanta and Orlando) would be good though and at least the Georgia inspired area there'd be more variety but Rockstar is probably never going to do multiple large cities again and even for a game that could have a 300M budget that'd probably be way too much to do.

Anything they want.

How about a GTA VI set in Vice City with four old women that live together and you play out their golden years?

EDIT: ... You know what? Actually a fucked up Golden Girls take off might be interesting and entertaining and the response would be even more so by everyone freaking out. Dammit, I kind of want this now. :(

That's the south in general though.

I don't know, I'd like another Vice City game. What era? I don't really care, just make it good Rockstar.
South Florida is not "the south." It's actually been studied and "the south" culturally ends just north of Orlando. Below that is standard suburban American fare.

Same. I hope they bring back the GTA V style Taxis too. I liked riding in the back seat just looking out the window
greatest laugh I got in playing GTA Vs online free roam was me just randomly strolling the city shooting at randoms only to find a taxi cab driving by and deciding to shoot at it to kill the driver and seeing a actual player getting out the backseat of the cab and running away. I laughed so hard for hours mainly because I had no idea that actual players could ride in the back of taxis on GTA online.

I will buy the remaster a year from now, maybe. I learned my lesson on TLoU remastered. Once you've played a game, you've played it. These remaster cash grabs are not worth the price of entry IMO.

every time I upgrade my PC's GPU(s) all if my games get remastered... Without having to repurchase them.

I agree that selling them at full price again is shitty, but this will have extra content and hopefully significant changes compared to the remaster of TLoU.

is Online a totally separate world and game?

does it share money and cars with single player?

Online is completely separate from the single player campaign. Money, cars etc do not carry over from one to the other. Progress in single player is saved to your HD/Cloud account. Progress in multiplayer is all saved constantly to Rockstars own servers.

Even shittier is that Rockstar is taking a page out of Ubisoft's book and releasing the PC version later. I bet they're trying to maximize console sales and hope people double (or triple) dip for the PC version.

Apart from those that don't work well at all with the latest version of Windows:p
