Bunch of folks riled up about something that honestly affects most of them in no way at all.
I'm willing to bet it affects a decent amount of people

"Menu? Better inform the proper authorities."
Check out the matches from the Gamescom invitational. They're on YouTube and Twitch. I watched a few matches last night and then some more while eating breakfast this morning, lol. October 27 is too far away.Is there at least any gamescom footage around besides the broll and besides TeamBeyond's fail 30fps videos? I need Halo in my veins.
Tell me how you know an NDA has been breached here.
The only way you can possibly know is if you've signed one too, in which case, you've likely broken the terms of the NDA also.
Lmao.Holy shit I just read the thread though. Y'all a bunch of Rileys in here, lol.
343 continues to make terrible menus compared to Bungie.
and you fail to know what a beta is
The Gamertag of the leaker is Dutchy XxX when you stop at the right time. Just to let the right people know.

There was no reason to do that, if GAF was a fraternity, you would not be allowed to go to any of the parties in fear you would call the policePlease read other previous posts.
Quoting that name over and over again doesn't help, by the way.
Best part of the leaked screenshots for me is 343 putting the file browser back into the game.
The only thing worse than the scumbags who break the rules are the scumbags who rat them out.

I heard from people that played the game before it released that it worked almost flawlessly before launch, then 1/2 weeks before release after a dashboard update things went really bad. Don't know how reliable this info is, though.Well, they obviously didn't do any external QA with MCC... 343 can't afford another MCC, regardless of the amount of leaks.
Yes, without his forensic investigative work there was no way anyone else could have worked it out. There was no reason to do that, if GAF was a fraternity, you would not be allowed to go to any of the parties in fear you would call the police
Would anyone have snitched like that or just stayed on topic and discussed the menu's? This guy went out of his way to basically get someone in trouble with in the first 3 posts of the thread.Yes, without his forensic investigative work there was no way anyone else could have worked it out.

Halo 4 worked perfectly at launch (except for file browser) and friends that played H5 beta told me the same, so I think H5 will work at launch.
The fact that they're doing external QA makes me think I'm going to be right.
Once again I hope the customization is crazy with Halo.
On the topic of NDAs, how would someone go about trying to test games on the side as a little job? I have a career but I wouldn't mind playing video games on the side for cash.
The game comes out in 3 months, they aren't going to rework their whole menu in just 3 months.
[edit]
2 months, actually.
And it'll be going gold even sooner.
Thanks man. Do you know how likely it is for people who apply to get approved and how many hours they can test a week? (Also there is no word on how much they get paid per hour)

It's your local minimum wage. Hours are completely random and as they are announced. As long as you sign all the documents, you'll be accepted. MKe sure you read through them though.
Having been a tester before I will tell you to not expect a glamorous job in which you will be playing all the hottest upcoming titles early. If you decide to pursue testing just remember you are there to make the game better, you are not there to entertain yourself. Does that mean fun cannot be had at all? No, you are playing a video game after all.
I'm surprised that a lot of GAF members don't talk about how they are apart of this. It sounds like a sweet deal: play video games in your free time and just record your reactions and complaints in a professional manner. These hours of test times must be inconvenient.
You can PM me if you have any specific questions. Most users don't talk about it because they don't want to risk their job. This is something completely different. this person signed an NDA and now there will be consequences for his childish actions.
Walks into thread. See people on insanely high horses on page 1. Walks out of thread.
