Killer is Dead isn't a bad game. The combat mechanics and visual style was pretty well done. Lily Bergamo looked like it could have been an evolution of that.
Visually striking? Sure. It's also shallow as fuck with a lot of shitty scenarios.
par for the course and the reason i shed no tears for lily's demise.

That's pretty much half the reason for me to get a PS4 down the drain, I'm finding it harder and harder to justify my purchase of one just to play GGXrd in 1080p and to maybe play FFXV and KH3 assuming they come out this decade.

Cool. Trust me man, it will really scratch that itch. The system already has a set of games that are really worth anyone's time, plus what was announced today/yesterday (depending on where you live)

When you say he had nothing do to with it, do you mean he's not working on it at all and his only link to the game is marketing?
I find that hard to believe considering how mediocre it looks. It has all the hallmarks of a Suda51 game.
Style over substance, average gameplay, stupid story/characters.

One reason I'm worried about Miyazaki moving up. Bloodborne will probably be his last game.
He hasn't directed a game since the original No More Heroes. He might supervise and give them some idea but that's it.
Nah From works differently, Miyazaki's predecessor was directing Armored Core games and the like while being management.

Lily was going to be F2P with compatible mobile apps, iirc.
The Famitsu screenshots really do not look much better... it's basically the default character in his underwear with some weapons in a really brown/muddy colored environment.

It makes perfect sense man, a PS4 exclusive game changes art style to cater to the Xbone dudebro audience.
Now seriously if the change in art style is true then it's definitely a weird and an unexpected one...that being said after Killer is Dead I didn't have high hopes for this anyway.
