The thing is that what can the PS3 put out this fall that can match Halo 3 (this is when the XBox owners will jump to by a 360 for those who haven't gotten one yet.)

we still got the holidays to go through (they better be stockpiling or else they'll miss the moneytrain)

With the cooling Japanese sales and not so out of stock in Europe anymore, you can bet you're ass they're stockpiling Wii to thier warehouse's brim.

Because they move consoles. Castlevania, Devil May Cry, FF, Soul Calibur, etc. They are console sellers.

I think it's just that non-gamers who bought the original are still happy with it and don't feel the need for a second game which to them looks like the one they already have.

Did the initial low MSRP establish a low value perception, or what? Why the difference between NA and say, UK non-gamers?

Gamers don't buy their sports games on the Wii. The sport titles will get the strongest sales on the consoles with next gen graphics.

Quit thinking of Wii Play as a game. It's an accessory that is a must-buy if you purchase a Wii, so it should continue to sell forever.
