Hero of light or a specific FF character would likely have a better chance that BLM, but BLM is higher up than most others.
I think the best FF character would be a summoner, because the summons, at least in name, are present in a lot of FF games, whereas classes/characters are not. Moogle/chocobo would be good assist trophies.

The thing with Square is that they don't really have a mascot per se. The closest thing would be a slime, but their modus operandi in the games consists of lurching themselves at opponents or fusing with other slimes. Hardly translatable to a fighting game.

Slime is also perfect assist trophy material. You're right though. Knowing sakurai, he'd pick someone from FF1 to represent the franchise, assuming he's allowed any say (which he probably won't be).
As long as we never get lara croft, i'm good.

Are there any good places to preorder the game online? Any deals? I know Toys R Us has a thing where you preorder and get a free amiibo thing, but shipping on there is really expensive and I want it next Friday. I guess I could preorder in the store. Anywhere else doing anything?

I decided to just eat the $10 savings and order the adapter and controller on amazon and preload the game from the eshop.
im talking about this bundle. hopfully ill be able to get one on release day.
I know, I was teasing you. Gamestop/amazon is all out, your best bet is to try best buys, possibly online, which possibly means getting it the monday after.
Or you can try to buy all accessories separately and lose out on 10 bucks.

Those are some pretty sweet designs. A bit large for some people's tastes I'd imagine, but I love the use of the Sonic hazards (the lighting and fire in Scrap Brain, the bumpers and elevator, etc. in Casino Night). A casino-themed Sonic level would be amazing.
A little late to the party here, but I wish you the best of luck in finding your cat and getting her back. I had one of my indoor cats escape once. We found her two days later under a neighbor's parked RV. It was a scary time. I hope you manage to catch her with her 'sanic speed'.

Standard melee combo is whip-a-palooza from Super IV.
It's his melee weapon, but it behaves exactly like Link's sword. And his whip spin is his up b, duh.

Well, I know it's been a long, arduous wait for November 21st, but it's amazing that it's almost upon us. Nevertheless, we've a week to kill yet, so I guess we should all keep playing the recently-released portable entry in the series, Super Smash Bros. for TI-83+. It's great that Nintendo made a portable entry in this series for a piece of hardware most high school students are bound to already own.

The only DLC I want is Ice Climbers. Although, after being so sure that they were cut because of 3DS restrictions, 8-Player Smash makes me think they might have ended up cut anyway. 16 Ice Climbers sounds like trouble.
I know, but 16 ice climber's jumping sound at once would be fantastic!
