If Corrine can't get it running at 60FPS, I'm not sure who could...

well this is new, on the web store listing

"YOU MAY NOT CANCEL A PRE-ORDER AT ANY TIME AND REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDERS, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS."

no other preorder has that that I've seen

The US and EU blog posts are written by Arne Meyer as well, the German post is a translation (unless Arne can write in German). Which kinda makes me wonder if the translator messed up.

To accommodate the USK they had to censor all the gore for the German release, so it's the only version running at 60 fps.

Nice to have confirmation. I'm in for sure.

I enjoy 60fps for racing games, FPS, and fighting games. A game like TLOU would look weird running at 60fps.

I can't tell if these people are real anymore.

I know this isn't the popular opinion on GAF, but 60fps honestly is not always desirable. Don't get me wrong, I love 60fps as much as the next guy, but this game is overally very slow paced, and additionally not the type of game where you need minimal input lag. I'm not saying 60fps wouldn't benefit this game, but rather that for a game of this nature I think maxed out IQ at capped 30fps would be a better experience.
But how much can you really push the IQ of a last gen port?

If the game suddenly looks like a ps4 game then I'm fine with it, if not, then I'd prefer 60fps

I'd say this is only worth for those who decided to abandon the PS3 and move right into the PS4 and so they ended up not playing this game.

If it's not 60fps, I don't think I'm going to buy it at full price.

The PS3 version dipped under 30fps pretty frequently, but a locked 30fps with some visual improvements alone won't be enough to justify the purchase at full price again.

I don't know if I'll pay $60 for this. I liked it but not as much as most people. Far from my favorite game last year. I might get it for the DLC though.

Is that a serious question? A shitload. Look at maxed out games on PC versus The Last of Us, or any other PS3 game for that matter. Or just look at Infamous: Second Son. The visuals are way better than anything on PS3. IQ on top-tier PS3 games is nowhere near how good they could be with everything maxed out.

locked 30 would be more than enough for this. 60 would be a bonus

It aint some intense action packed racer, fighting, or shooter anyways.

Would get me to buy it now instead of renting it out on redbox lol

If they can lock it at 30fps that will be fine. 60 fps would be fantastic, but since a huge complaint from people on the technical side were about the framerate drops, then locking it at 30fps should be the first goal.

Yes! 1 reason not to pick up a PS3 after buying my PS4 gone. Now to sort out Uncharted, Journey and 3D blu-ray support. :)
