What is the biggest "holy crap!" moment you're expecting from E3?

Halo 2 Anniversary actually being confirmed will be a holy crap moment for me. Followed by a next gen Conker reveal.

Really? Halo 2 Anniversary is a holy crap moment? I don't understand this or people being excited by TLoU PS4.

I don't think a holy crap moment needs to always be a surprise. I expect it to be there, but actually seeing it will still make me go holy crap...hence the thread title.

Driveclub release date and 60fps

Fallout 4
Halo 2 Anniversary (of course the E3 2003 demo)
Halo 5 trailer that shows us that it's a good halo game
Crash Bandicoot
Jak and Daxter
The Last Guardian
Sunset Overdrive
Fallout 4 by Obsidian Entertainment is a rhetorical announcement that would make my jaw drop.

Why Obsidian? A Bethesda Fallout 4 would be far superior.

I'm expecting an Uncharted 4 trailer that looks as good as The Division.

Also a Zelda trailer from Nintendo.

And a Halo 5 trailer from Microsoft.

Should be a great E3. I just hope none of it leaks or is shown before the conferences.

Hard to pick just one.
Microsoft is somewhat in a make-or-break situation. Either they go big or go home.
They know that losing any more early marketshare to the competition is not an option because early adopters are largely going to determine the uptake by the masses.
Fan expectations are insane and I wonder if they'll be able to deliver. I expect drastic pricedrops and 180's. XBL Gold goes free? Who knows. I expect megatons either way.

this is such crap, ps3 was selling worse than the xbone and it still caught up to the 360 eventually.

Zelda could be if it far exceeded what people might imagine it's gonna be like. Same goes for Halo 5 and Uncharted 4....people have an idea of what these games are going to be, if they really mixed things up and smashed expectations that could be huge. Not saying they have to, but these are the only big games that seem to have been announced but not shown I can think of.

I'm not "expecting" it because I don't want to feel disappointed, but a new Metroid Prime game for Wii U with crazy online multiplayer could be a big deal.

The Last Guardian on PS4 with a trailer and release window at the end.

Also Uncharted 4 stage demo will likely break GAF for a few days and kill gif hosting sites.

i don't expect any significant crazy announcements of the FFXIII (age of Sony am done) going multiplat variety, but I think the "holy craps" will come from displays of stunning visuals rather than big surprises. Most of the big third party franchises announced we know are multiplatform and we're unlikely to see the era of third party exclusives really return en masse, so most of the potential surprises have to come from first parties doing unusual things or demonstrating massive technical prowess or having a new product of some sort.

Seeing The Last Guardian will be a big enough thing for me to see. My body is so ready that even Reggie Fils-Aime has to take notice.

Big surprises in order:

1. Nintendo's desperate salvo to save Wii U? QOL product revealed? Zelda Wii U? Nintendo at least usually has something unexpected, so I give them biggest odds here.

2. Microsoft still has a lot to prove after the events of last year. ntkrnl revealed a lot of what is sure to be announced, but Microsoft is going to want to grab headlines to perhaps continue the momentum they've maybe restarted a bit with the price drops and Titanfall bundles and the like. I wonder if Titanfall performed well enough to want permanent exclusivity for the franchise?

3. Sony... please Last Guardian. Please.

There's one big major difference, though. XBO does not have the rest of the world to "pick up its slack", so-to-speak. If PS4 continues to pull away, there's pretty much no chance XBO will be able to catch up without Europe helping it in a major way. Japan is seemingly dead for everyone this go around, so that'll help mitigate things a bit, but the end result will still be similar. With much closer US numbers and the rest of the world going Sony, Microsoft will by definition have a harder time closing the gap.

343i and Joe Staten on stage to play a round of Halo 2.

Last Guardian re-reveal.

Zelda awesome and releasing sooner than expected.

Rockstar casually put a trailer up for a new game and steal the show without even attending.

Rockstar is always an interesting wildcard. Presumably Agent wasn't canceled, since it was referenced in GTA5, and San Diego would be the obvious candidate for having taken up the cause when North were working on V, that would be nearly four years with that studio in June.

I have a feeling MS will money hat a big established franchise.
Something like fallout 4.

Seriously? Come on, son.

Anyway, Crackdown 3 reveal would be the biggest 'holy crap' moment for me. Knowing it exists and actually seeing some footage would leave me jumping around my living room like a crazed loon.

Well, if they didn't moneyhat the game last generation, they're hardly going to be able to afford to when their marketshare is smaller than the PS4's.

Well there are rumours knocking about that Sony have some deal for the next Fallout on lockdown. Probably early DLC or some exclusive content.

IIRC Bethesda were also on the list of developers shown last year that were making exclusive content for PS4.

Crimson Skies 2 or HD.

For the love of God, I am playing it right now and it is still glorious.

Realistically though, I think I am going to be blown away by Uncharted.

Zelda U. Halo 2/5. Destiny. Witcher 3. Naughty Dog?

Biggest for sure though is likely Zelda. I will poop just a little bit. Destiny a close second.

Very much looking forward to this years E3 and am curious to know what others are hoping to see. What do you think might happen to blow us all away? Will it be a particular game? A hardware product? A service? Are you expecting just a very solid E3 showing from anyone in particular that just leaves you speechless at the end?

A new Nintendo console...
that's a Steam Machine that also plays Nintendo games.

Big third party money hats don't seem economically reasonable anymore. TitanFall was to plug a gap, and it didn't do what it should have. The price to get something like FO4 exclusive is so colossal they could make three or four AAA games of their own, which they also get to make lots of money from.

Metroid Prime 4
Zelda
F-Zero

Baten Kaitos 3 is what i definitely want the most out of E3 besides Metroid and Zelda.

And when the hell is Miyamoto's going to release his own game that he developing? It's been a few years and i'm terrified that this gonna sux hard!

Crash Bandicoot
Uncharted 4
AGENT !
The Last Guardian PS4 - 1080p/60fps
Media Molecule new ip with Jaw-Dropping art design

LOL. Imagine that. I'd still prefer RDR2 though.

I fully expect Nintendo to mention their next handheld and I bet it will be something no one thought of with power comparable to a WiU.

I also think we will hear about the QOL stuff and it will be something we didn't see coming but will make a lot of sense. And I imagine Zelda and some new game will steal their show.

I also expect to see some amazing VR tech/games from Sony and Facebook. Which will make people believers in the tech.

And finally for MS wtf. Moment I expect all Comcast/ Time warner cable boxes to have Xb1 guts in them and a price drop to 349.99 to undercut Sony.

I am thinking I will be more wowed by what sony may show, mostly because I have know idea what they would show that is new. I mean we will more than likely see the new uncharted game. But I really have no idea after that.

Nintendo will definitely show Zelda. That will WOW but it will not be and unexpected wow.

MS may have a good showing but we already know whats coming from them if the leak was true.

In fantasy land.. I would be most wowed by a new CHAMPIONS OF NORRATH for the ps4. :)

Nothing's really Holy crap if you can expect it so it's gotta be something really unlikely, like
Fallout 4 exclusive to PS4 or
BioShock 4 exclusive to PS4 or
Mass Effect 4 exclusive to PS4 or even
Metroid Prime 4 exclusive to PS4
Megaton!
