I wonder, if I could make Yoshi choose between entering a room where 150 new pokemons will be shown or a room where there are 10 minutes of footage of Bloodthorne, what would happen?

To those criticizing the quality of the enemy A.I. based on 5 seconds of footage -

Torch guy doesn't get the chance to attack because he got staggered by the first hit, then finished with the second. And the clip was far too short to see what the other guy was about to do. Some enemies across all three games have fairly deliberate swings.

Don't mind the concern trolls and what not.

The game is a year away and is obviously an alpha build people. No reason to hold it to the same level of scrutiny as with finished games

Tom penny is a huge anti Sony troll look at his post history.

And clearly there was hitstun that prevented the enemy from attacking you can see him start to attack.

Bloodborne looks really pretty in an understated sort of way. Great lighting, great geometry, subtle physics... It's very next-gen without deliberately trying to be flashy.

I hope you can actually equip different weapons still.

You can. Sounds like dual wielding is the norm, with weapons being divided into main and hand off-hand categories.

Because it's a spiritual sequel/spinoff in a dramatically different setting, changes up the mechanics in a non-trivial way, and having it as a new IP gives them more creative freedom?

Also, they probably intend to keep going with the Dark Souls series and want to make sure their Sony-exclusive series is distinct.

This allows them to differentiate from the Souls series, and make gameplay/story changes. Being another Souls game might have constrained their vision. Besides, I'm glad. This game looks set to have a similar feel to the Souls games with it's own twist.

Wow finally we get to see some footage! Looks sooo good! I hope they bring back destructible objects in the environment like Demon's Souls because there was alot in there.

Oh man, dat atmosphere.

Never played a Soul before( i know GAf, i know), but a faster and dynamic combat(i see people mentioning DMC) is always a good thing for me.
