I bought The Floor is Jelly. So far--I played through the two introduction worlds and the underwater world--it's pretty cool BUT a word of warning: the performance is terrible on my machine, easily sub-20fps. If you're like me and don't usually consider system requirements or anything for indie games, keep that in mind. I have a 4850 and a Phenom II X3 720 at 3.0 GHz (ie a mid-high end machine from 2008)

I feel like I need to play through deus ex 1 again after such a long time. I just beat deus ex HR DC (beat the original version when it released) and am speed running through it again for some director's commentary.

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
thread bums me out more every day, methinks its time for a break from Steamgaf

Forgot that was the one other issue with the game was horrible frame rate drops when it comes to the water level.

Yeah, it's gotten weird and for whatever reason I find that I'm getting more irritated with stuff that really shouldn't even bother me. It's not good. :\

But if I do take a SteamGAF break, what the hell will I do with myself? Play games? :3

Is Lexica the worst example yet of an iOS port?

That's the entire screen.

wow... that's shameless, but it seems to be missing a big huge LIKE US ON FACEBOOK button..

also what's the deal with iPhone games on PC that don't allow for touch control using a touchscreen? It's not as if the game was designed for that...

Oh wow great giveaway! Not jumping on this one, but Deus Ex 1 is a game that should be in everyone's libarary. It speaks volumes when the gameplay even outshines that of the newest DX game Human Revolution. (which is still a good game in it's own right) There is just something about how many options you have to go about every situation, including boss fights that just makes the game a joy to play and make it good for multiple playthroughs. Plus the dialogue and discussion in this game are top notch, especially the conversation with
Morpheus
. Plus they even have mods to make the game look much better, and it's pretty easy to install from what I remember.
do you still get the weird 'recoil' effect in 1?

Those look really good, way better than the similar banners for the Wii/Wii U equivalent. Also reminds me that the Wii U still doesn't have any folders.

Looking for impressions?

Sunless Sea sounds so good, I need to pick it up at some point.

Crawl is coming to Early Access July 17th

I've been hyped for this game ever since I first watched the trailer.

That's the entire screen.

That's really lazy. They couldn't even fix it up to make it not look like an iOS screen?

If anybody thinks they can attempt to get away with submitting a support ticket with Valve to claim ownership, I can only say that I've been using the same PayPal account and the same debit card for the past several years, and have many physical copies of games to submit as evidence...

...so, basically, don't be stupid. You won't get far. Be smart, though, and, well, you'll more or less never have to pay for another Steam game again.

Good luck.

Edit:
I'm sure this goes without saying, and I'll edit this into the OP as well as the giveaway post, but if the winner -- regardless of the intention -- triggers any sort of ban, access will be revoked. Again, don't be stupid. ;)

I'm downloading it now!! I love the music from it but I've never actually played it

I've listened more to the music then played it.

I was all alone. I don't like that future.

I also feel wrong about having never played Deus Ex, System Shock, Baldur's Gate, Diablo, Starcraft and such PC classics.

Still downloading but before the steam release there was only 1 active server. Never the less once you get a server up and going and have some people playing the game is a blast and very tense at moments.

Blimey I'm surprised you've kept with that for so long. Saying that I haven't come across a smaller title or middleware engine game that has really stressed any CPU I've thrown them at. As alway things get more and more GPU dependant as time goes on. Though judging by your tastes something like a GTX 750 Ti could be a big step up and last you a long time. Not that I'm saying you should upgrade now or anything :p

I did that, came back and was even crazier :/

Still was worth it to concentrate on other things.

Hahaha fuck me this is like everyone's Christmas', birthdays, weddings, bar mitzvahs, birth of their kids and lottery wins all at once to whoever wins. Wouldn't it be ironic if the winner had The Wheelman in their account.

I've always wondered who would be lucky enough to get family sharing to Jase's account. Now I'll know one of them.

I'm not a mega-giver, so best of luck to everyone that enters.

Haha, not like I need it, but why not. When else would I be able to enter for something like this -- and from our conversations and having a rather large collection myself, I don't think you'd have to worry about any of that "being stupid" nonsense if I win. :p

lol, this is it. The mic has been dropped. The Holy Grail. Access to a gigantic library owned by someone who only plays AssCreed or idles for cards, you'd never get kicked out of a game. Don't screw this up kids, he's offering an incredible gift here.
