Generating hype is one thing.
Claiming insider knowledge & dangling it in front of info-starved people is another.
In line with your question: if someone has legitimate insider info, that person also has the responsibility to use it wisely. TheWorthyEdge, for example, had that info, generated hype, & it was fine. The problem was that individual teased people with his secret knowledge & was warned by mods because it had morphed 'hype generating' into 'attention grabbing'.
90-95% of people in this thread don't know shit about what is going down this weekend during this event. It's important for the 10-5% that do know something/anything to use that information responsibly. A little hype building is fine & likely encouraged, but go too far & it's possible to create absolute chaos- and our hard working mods are the ones that have to clean it up.
