Maybe the main audience for the Forza series is car enthusiasts more likely to watch the Ford GT unveiling than E3/gamescom. No idea.

and it was totally anemic compared to forza 4. lack of content in 5, regardless of having the excuse as being a launch title, is a very real criticism. nothing funny about it.

Yeah that's the main bulk of the complaints I've heard about 5. Content wise it could have been better.

Also some the livery stuff or whatever is fucking insane. To be honest, part of why I was excited about getting FH2 a few weeks ago was because I knew there'd be some cool things in the livery to look at.

Burnout and Horizon are better than DriveClub and mainline Forza games.

i like both, but i find the actual driving fairly boring in horizon. there isnt the same level of on the edge of your seat as you push the car to the limits with its more arcade style handling. i really really really wish they'd do a better job of having the motorsport physics/handling as an option in horizon.

i like both, but i find the actual driving fairly boring in horizon. there isnt the same level of on the edge of your seat as you push the car to the limits with its more arcade style handling. i really really really wish they'd do a better job of having the motorsport physics/handling as an option in horizon.

Driving in Horizon 2, while fun, is just not engaging for me. I respect what it does, but the series isn't for me

I've been trying to figure that out but I don't think so. It could be Forzavista footage but the reflections in the side mirrors look too accurate for real time graphics on a console.

It sort of a mix between the old design, a 458 Speciale, a Porsche Carrera GT and an Aston Zagato. I suspect the added aggressive contours and lines are a product of the larger number of valances to aid in aero dynamics and downforce.

it's right on schedule. They announced early, but it was going to come out this fall anyways.

The last two games switched things over for me as I hated Horizon 1 and loved the main series but Forza was a dirge for me and Horizon 2 was fantastic and matched up to the wonderful Forza 2 which is my high point of the franchise so far.

After Forza 5 they have a lot of work to do to regain my confidence in Turn10, I'd feel far more confident if Playground Games were developing this as the Turn10 games have steadily been getting less interesting with each one they release.

Kind of, but Turn10 mentioned the possibility of another spin-off which is what I think Playground will do next (or maybe a PGR/Rallisport)

Just because he ripped on Forza and Drivrclub means he isn't into driving games. The fact that he like Horizon 2 is case enough that he likes them well enough or can be objective enough about them. Both mainline Forza and Driveclub weren't exactly critical darlings and had some major flaws and lack of content at launch.

Detroit auto show is my guess. Lots of car announcements so maybe it fits timing wise
