For thos of you saying these are bullshots, there are from the PS4 version. Its a PS3 game, so upressing it with good IQ(better textures?) should not be too hard.

SO4 was a fairly straightforward adventure without a stupid plot twist, and it was still a bad game.

And honestly SO3 was absolutely terrible in a lot of ways. It had a fantastic battle system and good music but that's all. I don't even consider the big twist to be the worst part of it.

Er...i thought it was one of the best in the series so hey, opinions -shrug-

Only thing i hated about 3 was figuring out what to do with the dragon flute in the mountains and directing the stupid turtles through the caves

I swear, the characters look even worse than SO4 Chars we didn't really knew at the time how bad they would get one we get to play'em. Now think about the horrible acting/va and scenarios these dudes must have planned. ugh

there were a lot more pictures than I was expecting, the spaceship pic is interesting as it looks like they get a spaceship at some point in the game. Environments look really nice. Maybe a trailer with gameplay footage soon?

Also every single enemy model shown so far is recycled from SO4 lol.

Just a joke. I don't think going older is necessarily more interesting, but it is true the latter is common with even 23 being about the max age you see for JRPG protagonists. In comparison, the west has the opposite problem.

Also, I really wish artists would stop using such colourful hair for their characters (a lot of female characters are victim to this, for some reason). I understand they kind of want to imitate the anime look, but it's just so jarring when the rest of the world looks so normal in comparison.

I think the anime style of the 3D models is much better than the halfhearted "halfway" designs they went with in the fourth game.

That pink girls looks really wrong, plus that witch is the worst design ever.

Main Char looks fine to me, but if they want to make a anime style game why not use cell shadding for the chars like in Atelier games ? Looks much better, but my preference is for a 100% cell shadded game like NinoKuni.

Star Ocean character issues was the facial animations more than anything which make them look like dolls. The designs are generic and all but functional for most of the part except Baccus which should be forgotten.

Be aware those are the CG models by SE Visual Works, not the in-game ones by tri-Ace.
