gaf i know you love letting everyone know how you feel about this franchise, now you can let ubisoft know too.

https://ubisoft.fluidsurveys.com/surveys/ph/acs-opinion-crm/

for some reason clicking witcher 2 deselects all the other games so i had to leave it unchecked

On the which games are you planning to buy page it lists a load of games we know about and then Red Dead Redemption 2....

Also 3 words about the series: Boring, Buggy, Frustrating.

Gettin better !

Unity made some progressive strides gameplay wise, but it dropped the ball in others (historical narrative, and the non-existent modern day narrative). Didn't think much of rogue either, so overall the series has been kinda samey for a few games now personally.

On the which games are you planning to buy page it lists a load of games we know about and then Red Dead Redemption 2....

yeah that jumps out at you, but I thought it was clear we'd be getting a sequel at some point

Hope everyone answer the truth. Maybe Ubisoft will notice how the franchise has gone from an amazing game (Assassin's Creed 2) to an soulless and disrespectful piece of entertainment.

It makes me really sad seeing what they are doing to the franchise.

Repetitive
Clunky
Tired

I do like the series overall and I'm currently playing Black Flag, but holy shit do they need to reinvent some of the gameplay systems and give it a year off. I thought the gameplay trailer for Syndicate looked remarkably uninteresting too, considering I live just outside of London.

Red Dead Redemption 2 seems like an odd one to put on that games you are interested in list, they know something we don't?

Whoa did they just spill the beans on RDR 2? The rest of that list is confirmed real, at least. Interesting.

The survey should probably just read like this though:

Will we stop making these games?
[ ] No
[ ] Never

"How do you feel about the Assassin’s Creed game series? "

not enough options. I want to say I used to love it , but then 3 happened : (

RDR2 and Skyrim 2 confirmed!!!!!111

Looks like they're busy ripping off of other popular games already, shocking :b

It's getting worse. They're moving further and further from The Real World segments. They're moving further away from the "Those That Came Before" story arch. They moved completely away from Subject 16 and Minerva's dire warnings. Instead, they chose to make Assassin's Creed a formal generic shell of it's once great self.

(of yes, I fully expressed myself on this survey.)

I was gonna say that if anybody at Ubisoft were to read my anwsers they probably wouldn't like them, but I think (looking at the posts above) I may be on the same page as most of you.

Real talk; RDR2 had me for a sec.

Lol, theres is a bug where if you add the witcher 2 to the played for more than 5 hours list, it erases all the other options.

Even their surveys have bugs!

They know about RDR2 as much as we do, it's just a guess.

I asked them to stop making this every year and make Beyond Good & Evil 2 instead.

It's funny how they're asking if you own a Wii U but completely ignore games like Starfox or Xenoblade 2 when asking what games you're looking forward to.

And man were those two trailers cringe-worthy.

Actually the survey is interesting, it tells some things about their perspective (it's not just "give 3 words").

Really awesome to see that many of you guys here think the same thing.

The franchise is really disappointing to me. I've LOVED the first two (yes, the first one too) and it's really sad what they're doing to the franchise.

It can do much more. But money speaks louder, i think.

I'm sure that Assassin's Creed will continue to lose its legacy as time goes by, The franchise is on it's downfall.

"Which of the following games are you planning to purchase?
Select up to 5 items that are the most important for you.

A new Elder Scroll (Skyrim 2)"

I'm never helping Ubisoft again
I didn't help this time as i just bashed them as a company with politeness

So says Prototype Viktor, the anti-Yves

oh they basically listed every single AssCreed game as "did you play any of these" except Liberation with the female lead, showed 2 trailers that showed everyone on the cover except Evie (far as i could tell)

I gave them a very honest opinion and didn't sit on the fence about stuff.

The games are boring and stale and it needs to be rested, then come back in a few years when they've improved everything.

They want to know why I'm not getting Syndicate and how they can convince me to, honestly they can't. Series fatigue is set pretty deep now and I'm just tired of getting the same unpolished stuff every year. Granted it's partly my fault for buying it every year, but I stopped that last year, no Unity and no Rogue and will continue to do so from now on, I honestly don't miss playing them. I thought a break after Black Flag would be enough but it wasn't.

Evolved1

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Well I filled it out and actually wrote stuff. Wonder if anyone actually reads it. Weird questions though...

How much do you love AC?
  • SO MUCH
  • A LOT
  • YES
  • FUCK AC I FUCKING HATE IT

Um... how about something in the middle? lol

I had fun telling them why I was finished with the Assassin's Creed series. Annual releases are bad enough, but when even other Ubisoft IP feels like it follows the same formula with a new skin on it, it gets really tiresome.

Let them know! I also added that they keep going to really boring locations when stuff like India, China, Japan, even Russia would feel super fresh. Even visually there's not much of a difference between Paris and London.

I think there's technical reasons to it. They need to make it an yearly franchise, they need to choose locations that they can explore it a lot. The buildings in Assassin's Creed Syndicate looks almost the same as Unity.

Or maybe i'm crazy, but to me it does looks very similar.

(well, the entire franchise looks the same, so....)

Did anyone mention anything about the co-op features? Ever since I played the first installment I told myself "they have to add co-op".

I just hope they don't scratch it and add more features to it. More co-op missions or even a co-op campaign etc. and I'll day 1 Syndicate.
That is if the performance isn't Unity territory.

Same here. Basically told them to kill the franchise and associated games using the same formula. Maybe learn a little from CD Projekt Red :)

"So why didn't you play Unity?"

"Aside from it's negative reception? The fact that your damn games haven't changed since AC 2 and you ruined the modern storyline with AC3 and clearly give no shits about that aspect of it anymore and are completely directionless."

I kind of gently tore them a new asshole. I wasn't rude or anything, but AC used to be so good that it's miserable seeing what it's become. Everything they do is seemingly to silence complaints without getting it. People complained about no females in Unity? They add Evie in Syndicate but she's barely playable and feels tacked on in the extreme.
