well this game is incredible. They pulled it off. Its STAR WARS through and through.
my only complaint is that the rebels have yet to win a walker assault game in the few ive played.

Walker Assault feels really lopsided. I mean to the point without a premade coordinated team I cannot see the rebels ever winning. Their only defense is the turrets which are also needed to target the AT-AT. Problem is the turrets are made of paper. The Empire starts way too close to the battle as well. By the time rebels even start getting into place to try and defend the empire is already broken the lines and blowing up all the turrets etc
Yeah, it is slick and classy as hell. I adore the presentation of this game.

Nevermind on the Twitch, I'm on the NXE and Start Broadcast is not working. Unless they disabled Battlefront on Xbox One Twitch for some reason.

It's awesome. It puts the "Wars" in Star Wars.
I've been watching summit's stream now for quite some time and i gotta say i'm surprised how polished and stable this beta seems to be, at least on PC.
When i look back at the Battlefield beta's where you disconnected every 10 minutes or so, this is a huge improvement. Kudos to DICE.
Will be interesting to see how it will hold up on thursday.

I'm glad to hear this.
The game, visually speaking has always looked great. Was just hoping that the gameplay would follow up.

Vehicle gameplay in this game is so damn underwhelming. Feels absolutely terrible. I get that this is an infantry focused game (and it does a fairly good job at it), but the vehicles in this game shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as they currently are.
Dogfighting with the aircraft is a chore and I still don't understand how the hell the auto lock-on/auto aim works yet.
So far the AT-ST also feels "meh," but I'll give it more time for now.
Outside of those, the graphics and sound design are great as well as the overall presentation.

The visuals and sound are pretty great, but I'm so bad that it's actually hard to get a grasp on the game.
Right now I'm in a "get shot by the invisible man" simulator. It kinda feels like I take two steps and die to someone halfway across the map. I can only get people if they're three feet away from me and standing still. Oy.
I did like the brief single player bit. Felt more in my element outside the crowd of sharpshooters. >_>
Oh, and I accidentally shot Darth Vader in the crotch once.

Lol are you playing DZ or Walker Assault?
Both, but I primarily got that feeling with Drop Zone. I got ambushed so many times the other Stormtroopers were chastising me for wearing non-regulation brown armor.

Listened to the gamespot guys on the lobby talking about this game.
They are big Battlefield guys, and to them, this seems very casual focused. It doesn't have the same complexity that a Battlefield game would have. Seems like a good game for someone who doesn't play many twitch shooters to go in and pew pew for a few hours.

I was saying that from the videos at E3. This game was made for casuals.
Just wait until the floodgates open.
Not surprising. You don't take a huge IP then make it hard to play for a majority of the userbase.

I only played a round of Tattooine survival on my own and 2 rounds of Drop Zone on the non Hoth map but omg, I love it so far. It reminds me of Titanfall in a way, super focused on ding a few things and really streamlining that, meaning you don't have to spend 25 minutes in menus.
Also the sound design is amazing, and the graphics are awesome, with the exception of pop in which is super noticeable. Playing on PS4.

On foot stuff is fun. Took me a minute to figure out how the radar works but once I did it made Drop Zone significantly more enjoyable.
Vader and Luke look pretty goofy running around the map, but it's fun to watch them run at groups expecting to tear them apart to just be met with a flood of blaster rounds.
Game looks great, plays great. After all the new games with the advanced movement options of things like BLOPS 3 and Halo 5, the limited mobility here was a little underwhelming at first but it works for what it is.
