It's been stated a million times in interviews, it's a Nintendo (the FE Production team from Nintendo) and Atlus joint. There has been zero IS mention in interviews or game credits.The idea came when Nintendo and Atlus were collaborating on Sparkles Snapshots for the 3DS eshop.

I have loved the Koopalings forever. I raged hard when they were not included in Mario Maker.
If they feature prominently in this game I don't care how fucking bad it is I'm buying it day 1.

I hope that if this is a proper TTYD sequel, you can swap the main character. You'd still have the same partners, but you could swap between:

But we where talking about announcements. I was responding as to why people are not instant hype for this announcement. when #FE was announced it was announced as a collaboration of SMT and FE,and FE is IntSys. For them to even approve a crossover they have to get the OK from them. Even if the game has nothing do with IntSys nowadays, when it was announced it did.
Again, I am well aware that nowadays the game is its own I.P.

I was excited for it, but after seeing it just took inspirations from both games I'm not getting it until impressions. Although I'm not angry at what it is, it looks polish and the gameplay looks fun. I'm actually surprise people still hate on the game after being told its its own thing.

I think the hate is dying down. We are getting a new SMT and a new FE, so its not like #FE is going to replace them. There is a few months until we get it on the West, and if it reviews decent and is released in a time when we are hungry for games (Similar to Xenoblade X), it should sell decently enough. At least better than STEAM.
Imagine the potential. We could have the opera scene from Final Fantasy VI, except it's Ludwig's symphony and you're Ultros. We could have an area where we have to find Iggy's green hair dye and growth hormones.

I would agree, but with Paper Mario, we don't know if it's traditional or anything. That's the life we have. we can only dream.

I really don't think it'll be another Mario game. The Wii U has plenty of good Mario games on it at this point and we know NX will almost certainly ship with a new Mario ready for it.
I think it's an existing IP. Could be Pikmin 4(Even though Miyamoto mentioned it, was it ever "officially" announced)?
Pilotwings and Wave Race would be by other guesses.
So I'll stick with Pilotwings, Wave Race or Pikmin 4.
EDIT: Reading back a few pages it appears the Koopa kids are in it. So yeah, looks like a new Paper Mario?

I'm telling you guys, it should be Paper Bowser, with the Koopalings being all of the partners. It would be a comedy of errors!
It would be interesting if they used the Koopalings in general since these games are so talky. I feel like their personalities aren't really that well defined, so it would be interesting what the scenario writers would come up with.
