Cory Barlog left Crystal Dynamics and returned back to SSM is the best news ever happenend in SSM. He has "ocean eleven" dream team.
Probably douchebag elves and dwarves.
Cause I'm trying to imagine Kratos pulling wings off cute little fairies and screaming in rage about it. Not a lot of challenge there.

I'm okay with Kratos. He was actually developing towards the end of GOW 3 so he should be a lot different in this game. It will be interesting.

I mean if you give SSM a general idea on a creature from some folklore, I'm sure they can make it into some sort of interesting enemy. Like when I think of Sirens of Greek mythology I certainly don't think of the monstrosities SSM made out of them lol.

When did God of War: Ascension start getting so much heat because I love that game, gameplay and bosses were on point and the multiplayer (outside of lag) was some of the most fun I had in multiplayer on Playstation 3.

Out of place beard aside beard aside I hope that this is real, if only because I've been waiting for Kratos to stomp a different group of gods since GOW3. Wonder what some Norse God did/will do to piss Kratos off. Axes will be a nice change of pace from the blades from the other GoWs, gameplay wise.

Guessing on how quickly this was shut downthis was going to be big at E3 2016 for sony. Either a full blowout or a "one more thing" deal with an annoucement trailer.
The other leak about an animator doing a Hyrda and a Gorgon for E3 makes me think we are getting a trailer showing his previous escapades leading to GoW4.
I could see Loki watching him fight Gorgons and Hydras in some magic smoke tv showing tthe viewer who kratos is before summoning him, giving him the whole. Kill Odin and you can have your wife speech and letting him loose.

About the leak, I like the artworks but I'm not sure they should be forcing Kratos in the story, there should be an other main character but it's too early to tell, we don't know exactly what we're looking at.

I liked Kratos in God of War 1, but he was David Jaffe's creation, and the later characterizations just didn't feel the same without him.
Yeah, I'm thinking this was Sony swinging around some hefty unofficial weight on this one. They'll never admit it, but who else would be this pissed?

I wouldn't be surprised if this leak forced Sony's hand in terms of showing something for God of War 4 at E3 (if they weren't already planning to show it there). EDIT: doubt it though, they could simply let this blow over.

I hope time and distance has evolved Kratos from RAH RAH REVENGE to something more introspective and grown up.

If its still Kratos, but he has none of his old weapons (until New Game+ or whatever) then I think that is a decent compromise.
I would rather someone new, and maybe a little less angry (just a little less), but I understand they want to hold onto that brand recognition.
