OG Xbox games with Jet Set Radio Future as the game they're announcing please.

Is that asking for too much?

Original xbox support starting with KOTOR / KOTOR II this Xmas, followed by the announcement of KOTOR III releasing Xmas 2017 as an X1 console exclusive...

My guess would just be several of the top remaining games being added to 360 BC. Although the timing of it being the 15th anniversary of the OG Xbox is hard to overlook. It would be awesome if they somehow pulled that off.

I'd love for it to be 360 on PC, but I'm pretty sure that would need new contracts. So original Xbox BC would be great too, considering the state of emulation of that platform.

What does Sony charge for their PS2 games, $14.99?

Microsoft should price the OG Xbox games at $3.99, then drop the mic. Free if you already own it on disc, of course.

Yep and like 6 people would buy them because they wouldn't have achievements

If it ain't, you know, actual huge news....I hope Larry clarifies on Twitter that he was simply referring to a top-requested BC title.

One thing: Has Microsoft ever announced a Backward Compatibility title on a weekend? November 12th is a Saturday. Why the hell would you announce a BC game then? ....That makes me think this is more of a system-wide change rather than a BC offering. (i.e. Legit huge news.)

Didn't get the memo regarding the 14th Amendment
My guess is it's either OG Xbox BC, PC Windows Store BC for 360, or a general announcement that multi disk games have been solved and they will also be available digitally starting with Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey followed by Mass Effect 2 and 3.

Xbox Fanfest in Mexico. Phil is doing a live streamed briefing there but that is happening on the Friday (11th). My guess Major Nelson is mentioning the 12th because he is in Australia.

Original Xbox support starting with Ninja Gaiden Black!

Is there any reason to believe PC BC could actually happen?

If they can get 360 games running in a VM on Xbox One hardware there's no reason to believe the same would not be possible on a more powerful Windows PC. And expanding 360 BC to Win10 would go along with their "Play Anywhere" strategy. I'll mostly be interested to see if they require DX12 or not. I'm still stuck with an HD 6950.

Is Ninja Gaiden Black really that good?

It's amazing and it just feels so damn good to run around in the game. The sequels never reached the same level of polish and design.

I'd also do terrible things to get SSX3 on BC. I found doing full mountain runs very relaxing.

Another vote of desire for OG Xbox games here.

Is it remotely realistic to expect new OG Xbox to be made available digitally? I saw the list posted earlier regarding what is available. There's some good ones but in total the offerings are pretty limited.

Were there rumors about 360 BC coming to Windows 10?

Not really no. Phil did say this in 2015.

[Xbox games on Xbox One is] something I want to do, but it is a matter of priority. I would love to have the ability to play Xbox 360 on PC at some point too, so we have different things we have to think about when we plan these things. But it would be great to have support for original Xbox games. So yes, I want it, but we have many other things we want to do as well.

With Red Dead BC, and Skryrim having a remaster. Seems like the biggest titles are already accounted for. Like the current top 20 games are really rather redundant at this point. Bolded games that are BC now or Remastered. Can see any of the games here being worth hyping up a huge announcement.

Black Ops 2
Skyrim - Remastered
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Mass Effect 3
GTA IV
Mass Effect 2
Batman: Arkham City
BioShock Infinite
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Assassin's Creed III
Battlefield 3
Batman: Arkham Asylum
GTA V
Oblivion
Halo 4
Halo 3
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
BioShock

Digital Releases of multi-disc games would probably be able to count as a "huge" announcement.

The only thing that could be "huge" if it's really just a bunch of games, is BC for all CoD games.

I have a feeling it's not going to be that big of an announcement. Maybe something like 15 titles added to BC!

And only 1 or 2 of those GAF will actually care about.

It's likely just more games. My dream would be if they figured out how to run the games at higher res. They have to test them all anyways.
