Agreed. As much as I like the Fury's style, I prefer the original HD for its look and background music.
I was never able to do that, but WipEout® Disciple is still the rarest trophy I have.
Do we have any information on how they're planning on setting up this package?
Is it going to be a package with the three original games listed, similar to what happened in the Uncharted collection, or is it going to be a brand new game that essentially uses the content from the three separate games in a brand new game?

Destruction Derby would be ace. I've been saying for years they should do this and get Bugbear (Flatout, Wreckfest) to develop it.

One of the best things is the acceleration you get just before you move up a speed class and the track colours update.
God I cannot wait for this on PS4.

This makes me so happy. I hope there's a Collector's Edition or something, maybe with a vinyl soundtrack. This is the first game that has made me want a PS4 Pro + 4K TV, I remember being amazed at how good it looked on PS3, can only imagine what it'll look like in 4K.
I don't really like racers, especially not sci-fi racers, but Wipeout HD was one of my favourite PS3 games. Beating Zico is probably in my top 5 gaming achievements.

I played the hell out of Wipeout HD. I really want to buy this but I have played this game so much already. I dont have a 4k TV. Wipeout HD was already 1080p 60fps, so I'm not sure what upgrade this will provide really to non 4k owners.
I spent so long trying to beat Zico.
I know I will end up buying it, I love Wipeout.

2048 being included makes it pretty exciting to me. I hope it turns out well coming from Vita.

After this was announced, I agree that we need a Motorstorm Collection, but also a Ridge Racer 5 and 7 remaster.....RR5 & RR7 would look sublime at 4k with no aliasing.......
Has it been confirmed that it's dynamic 4k? I think they can do a bit better than that, but surely it's not needed. 4k with 8xMSAA and TAA would be good enough to have prisitine IQ....like tearaway.....1080p owners should be in heaven.People need to keep tweeting and retweeting
It's dynamic 4k, I can't imagine it being rendered internally at anything larger than 4k to supersample it down to 4k.
It has some great tracks. Putting them on Vita was a bit of a mixed bag tho; since they have a bit more trackdetail and color palette and stuff; they were a bit hard to follow on the smaller screen; and performance wasn't all that. Really looking forward to finally playing those on a bigger screen
yes hd/fury had splitscreen.
2048 no because it was a vita game.
But i believe they are just combining all the games into 1 with this package (vehicles,tracks etc..) and it will include splitscreen for all 3

2048 was a great game, the only problems was the framerate and the lack of a proper simple race mode. At least the first one will be solved in PS4, can't wait to play it in a big screen in 1080p (normal PS4 peasant here XD) and 60fps.

Transcendence : achieve zone 75 is with bloodborne plat my proudest achievement. I worked hard and got them fair and it felt truly like a reward to a skill based achievements after weeks of practice

I'll pick this up for sure, just because I loved this game when I was younger.
Do any of these games have the animal ship cheat. 2097 was the game I remember playing the most and it's the only one I remember doing the cheat on.

Wipeout HD was the first game i got trophies from my PS3 back in the day.
I've played this game a littel too much ( bought 2048 and the dlc too )
i guess i'll come back again ... it's not like there is a new f-zero in the near future anyway.. and wipeout HD soundtrack was freaking awesome.

Only 2097 has that. You will have to settle with the Mirage team ships looking like a bug.

Personnally, this is the second game that would justify a PS4 system (the first one being Bloodborne). According to my own rules, I need 3 games like that to pull the trigger. I hope the third one is not too soon, for the sake of my wallet.

That would be real nice as any hope of a remaster of the original trilogy seems to be distant now.
