It's not my favorite thing but if that is her thing then good for her. If she has a good personality I can deal with it.

Perfect.

I'm in favour of it in general, though my personal preference is more athletic. Either way, seeing women who can easily out-perform me in the gym only encourages me to work out harder in the gym myself.

EDIT: Phrasing.

I always find it amazing when people create threads within a day or I see posters that posted a few hours ago that are banned. I wish I knew why!

I think everyone should strength train to some degree / work out in some fashion. I do Yoga and I've been out of strength training b/c of moving twice in the last 5 months but I need to get back to it, I see and feel the muscle I've lost. My girlfriend while doesn't lift does yoga and zumba 3/4 times a week.

I started strength training this semester. I did my first wide-grip pull up just this last Friday, so that was my first gym goal :D It's been nice seeing improvements, I'm very happy that there are any to begin with! Need to work on diet more, but it's hard to prepare food. Dream is to have some good quads and a fine ass, maybe one day. That being said, my boyfriend is all for it, hopefully I can carry him one day, lol.

Unfortunately I'm skipping out today because this week is finals week and Wednesday is going to be killer for me. I have to say though, gym does so much more for you than physically improving yourself, the benefits in stress-reduction have helped me so much.

Girls who workout 24/7 and devote their life to it is not attractive to me.

Simply bc it always turns into an instagram ponzi marketing scheme in the end and it's disingenous bc anyone can fucking lift, but some of them make it look like it really is rocket science.

Hmm. Well, funny because my goal during bulk right now is not only even thicker thighs, stronger knees, and glutes but also more prominent. abs. My abs right now are like the second set of girls but...

My dream abs.

Who is this? You can shred cheese on those abs.

Girls that lift are awesome. My favorite is Marissa Inda.

My partner lifts daily - deadlifts, squats, OHP, bench. She is only 4'7 and 104 lbs though. She is vegan and doesn't eat much protein but she's strong for her size.

There is also the point, that should be noted, that girls who strength train don't typically look like bodybuilders. They have absolutely rocking bodies with a little muscle but aren't over the top in the same way that guys who are like jay cutler are over the top. Still very feminine, with better bodies (and health and capability) than 99% of women.

Looking at OP pics I'm not really attracted to any of them. If my wife suddenly decided she wanted to start strength training hard I'd deal with it but it's not a preference.

I find them incredibly attractive. Not just because they're fit, but because of that amazing dedication.

I have a serious weakness for women that have muscular legs, but weirdly only in real life and not on pictures. There's something about where I want to run my hands over them toned legs even though I don't consider it more visually attractive than generally shapely legs.

In any case, I'm absolutely fine with weight lifting women, because women in general can't become jacked. The women in the OP all seem to be on steroids or other kinds of testosterone supplements. I'm not fine with that. Don't like lean mass on women (outside of legs), not a fan of broad jaws either.

I like buff women, but none would ever consider dating a overweight guy like me so in the end it is whatever.

I have yet to meet a woman whose lifting would make me feel uncomfortable. I think more women should do it. Lifting is great for men and women alike.

It's great. Of course most people have some threshhold for the amount of muscle.

Most women who consistently lift and work hard at the gym are not hulking brutes.
I want to date a lifting chick so bad.

Fantastic. If you work out (and stay away from gear in my opinion) you can't possibly look bad. Work out, people regardless of what gender you identify as. Naturally attained athleticism will make you more attractive.

I think it's fine for them, same for men. Do whatever makes you happy.

For relationships and whatnot (since that's what the OP talks a lot about), I'd be fine with it, I'd probably think it's hot if I'm in a relationship with a woman who is significantly stronger than me because I'd feel like she could "protect," me, but I feel like women into fitness probably wouldn't be attracted to me because I'm pretty out of shape, and in my experience people into fitness tend to like other people into fitness.

I find gains on a woman really unattractive. I'd rather a girl had a bit of fat than muscle.

Not to say I'm against women working out and keeping in shape, obviously that's very attractive.

If it makes them more attractive then I wouldnt have a problem with it. Like dudes however, you can take it too far.
