Ok good haha. Back on topic, Japanese developed games are really coming out full force. Really want Persona 5 limited edition but its damn sold out.

Gone this far w/o spoilers but I do still have a question. Which game has the best soundtrack to those that played it? P3, P4, P5 or FFXV?

P3 > P5 > P4

They are all at the highest quality and that is only my opinion.

P5 has less stellar tracks than P4 , but i like them more. I can listen to all of them almost endlessly.

Soundtrack wise..

I'd say P4 and P5 are neck and neck. I def LOVE the soundtrack of 4 dearly but 5 has some great tracks. P5 has less vocal tracks but the few that are there are amazing(battle theme is a song on my phone.)

Battle theme (P5)

Boss theme(P5)

Intro(P4 and P4G)

Daily life theme(P4)

School classroom theme(P5)

Serious scene(P5)

Dungeons (P5)

I don't think 10 means perfect. 10 to me means "compared to all the other games in its genre, it's the best or one of the best."

Michael Jordan wasn't a perfect basketball player, but he's the GOAT, so I ain't saying shit if he's got a 99 or 100 rating on NBA 2K.

Give how long it's been in development, I ain't even gonna be surprised at its scores being where they end up. They took their time to get it right.

It's not that far-fetched to assume that any of those games listed in the picture could be nominated in one of the many categories of 2017's achievement in games, from GOTY candidacy (P5, Zelda, Nier) to best soundtrack (GR2, Nier,etc), etc.

Digimon ain't getting nominated for anything. ;P

Outside of "Coming Winter 2014" - which is already used for the Import OT - what are people thinking sounds good as a Persona 5 OT Title?

Coming up with 5-6 options for a poll, so suggestions that get a ton of support are more likely to be chosen for it.

That will be most competitive Goty voting in years Zelda, Nioh, Nier, Horizon, Persona, Splatoon, Mario, Red Dead, Destiny 2 and probably some other stuff that doesn't have release date yet.

Fuck me, I thought it would take a miracle for anything to beat out Persona 5 as my favourite game of all-time after last year, but then Breath of the Wild happened :(

Even after sinking 100+ hours into this game in Japanese, I am beside myself with excitement to play it again in English. I still have the OST playing most days, and think back to just how incredible my first run was.

You people should be pretty damn excited. Persona 5 delivers in spades.

I'm so incredibly pumped for this game. Man, all we need are some awesome sleeper "out of nowhere" type hits and 2017 could end up with the greatest years in gaming.

I really loved playing P4G portable on the Vita, it was such a perfect fit for handheld gaming. Hoping there's a P5 portable version for Switch. Not sure how likely something like that would be...

Comparing FF15 to another game closer to it than Persona 5, Nier, it has it beats in story, characters, combat depth and even art design personally speaking. Which are pretty important for a JRPG, and all of those things were significantly lacking in FF15.

When a game like 1/4th the budget out classes you, time to take some lessons
