Dlc and enemy scaling patch pleaseeeeeee.
Just finished the whole game and doing a new file playthrough wich i do rarely after beating a game yes i got all major endings:p

This game is worthy up there with my uppermost favorite games/franchises: Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, Metroid and now Nier Automa is added to that number one spot along with these 4.

1 million is too little for the game.

It's a sufficiently differentiated product behind a cult-following auteur, price elasticity of demand should be rather inelastic.

Sure hope words-of-mouth could push steam to say 500k and PS4 to 1.5m eventually.

Cult-following auteurs generally don't equate to high sales because they are niche by nature

I would argue one million is pretty damn good for this kind of game and probably more than Square Enix anticipated. Definitely far more than any other Taro game has done.

I can't wait for the stream.

I feel kind of dirty having Persona 5 in my PS4 and not Nier Automata, but that will change once I complete the former. I'm actually kind of excited to go back to it and finish up all of the trophies (I refuse to buy them, I'll earn them the legit way). Maybe we'll have whatever is announced in this stream by then, too.

Yeah, 1 million for a sequel to a game released 7 years ago that never even sold half of that worldwide is pretty damn good. I'm hoping word of mouth carries it to cross the 2 million mark.

I'm not gonna throw out money for any DLC before Square bothers to fix or even acknowledge the issues they introduced with their latest patch. (Which was like 3 weeks ago now.)

What issues are those? Already finished the game a while back so haven't run into them.

Setting and hacking text breaks, framerate is a lot worse, camera does it's own thing sometimes, weird physics bugs that weren't there before, etc.

It's weird because not everyone is affected by this, and the text glitch seems to kinda come and go, but just looking at current LP's is enough to see that the issue is widespread enough, and so far Square completly fails to acknowledge any of this.

oh huh I've had that text bug in hacking since the last patch and assumed it was some kind of intentional Taro mindfuck.

Nope, and while the framerate was never all that smooth, it might be worse for you than it was before too. And lots of other small glitches.

At this point I keep telling anyone who's on the fence about this game to keep their money in their pocket until Square at least acknowledges this, let alone fix it.

Huh i had that text when i first played the game thought it was normal, it was there when 2B is booting up after the intro. If that's a bug then that's hell of a perfect timing lol.

My wish is simpler:
Automata being available in my region Steam store and not the current BS redeem Steam key through a physical disk.
S. Enix has gone insane in my region...

I totally thought it was intentional until the game wanted me to adjust the settings, only then i understood it was a bug.
I even thought that they wanted me to play the first half hour of the game in English because of this.

Are we sure this isn't just an anti piracy flag? XML files of gamescript and fonts dont tend to just break randomly when you load them too many times.
