Which part is amazing? I'm entitled to voice my opinion as much as you have the right to disagree but your disagreement doesn't invalidate my opinion in any way. Fact that playing shooters on the DS4 kills my hands.

I would love this as I have different people on both to play with but it ain't happening especially with Sony's paid maps and weapons exclusives that from the sound of it will be life of the game again just like jade rabbit and other year 2+ exclusives.

Well I mean the Xbox controller is superior for shooters. I didn't realize people thought differently. I enjoy playing Destiny on my PS4 just fine but the controller sucks and it's ok to admit it. If I could reliably play with an Xbox controller I'd do it 100% of the time. I don't want to resort to hacks to do it though so I main my Xbox.

Nope just a over 40 gamer who has been playing game and working with his hands his whole life and certain controllers just hurt to use. I do play more often on PlayStation using a Hori controller which helps but the triggers on that controller are a little funny.

I doubt you would be able to use it on PC, it would probably be in your inventory but couldn't be equipped. But the real answer is no one knows, because we don't even know if the cross save thing is true.

Wtf are you talking about? So Sony having a couple of exclusive items locked up is a huge deal to you? Microsoft kept Tomb Raider off the ps4 for a while, a whole fucking game. There are more important reasons to choose a preferred platform.

I assume that if it does have cross-save, it will only save certain types of progression but keep gear separate. Most exclusive content are just gear and strikes anyway.

Yeah to me it is I won't support it. I didn't buy tomb raider till it hit PS4 either. I don't like it either way.

Do we know for sure that D2 is going to play any different on Scorpio?
I played D1 on Xbox One and it looked and played identically to the PS4 version.
I feel like we are going to see something similar with PS4 Pro and Scorpio.

Yeah, regardless I am going to stick with the XBOX version, just because the online continuity. I really don't think the cohesiveness and ease of access to parties, clans, clubs, gets enough credit, and that is what Destiny is all about. Sucks that this will probably be another timed PS4 DLC schedule though. C'mon Microsoft, come off the wallet.

It will perform better on the more powerful machine period. I play Destiny on my Xbox one S and a PS4 Pro both with SSD's and the pro with something as simple as boost mode makes a noticeable difference in the consistent fluidity of the game in heavy fire fights and loading . It isn't huge but it is noticeable I play a lot on both and can feel the difference.

My real-life friends are on Xbox; my preferred platform is PC; GAF is on PS4 and I have a Pro.

Not sure what you're on about. If anything, my experience is the opposite:
He's obviously just trying to shit on Sony/PS4. He's calling Sony out on the exclusivity shit when Microsoft has been doing it longer, and worse, keeping entire games off other consoles. He also basically stated that real men with "real man hands" prefer Xbone controllers. I'm 6'2, have large hands, and use both DS4 and my Xbone controller on pc no problem.

cross save would be huge for me, i would get to play with my pc friendbase and console friendbase, pretty much exactly what im looking for.
crossplay doesnt bother me since both of my friendbases are pretty damn seperate, my pc friends are more serious wow ppl and my console friends are mostly irl.

Can't call console wars when I actively play on all the platforms and switch based on which plays better or to my preferences. It's why I own them all so I have choice. There are plenty of times I choose Sony or PC.
My opinion is not console wars BS it's just my opinion and preferences and maybe it isn't yours but doesn't mean I don't have the right to say it.

Yep. I agree with you on all points. I even use the Switch without issue. I do think the Xbox controllers are superior to Playstation ones for shooters, but, either are fine.

Yup. Hearthstone utilizes cross-save across PC/iOS/Android and it's super convenient for the players who switch platforms often (like me).
60fps would be most welcome. Personally I find 30fps shooters too jarring. After a while you do get used to it but damn, going from a 60fps shooter to a 30fps shooter is painful.
I do doubt that it is 30fps though, the xbone couldn't hit 1080p at 30fps, what on earth would the resolution be at 60fps ?

Development time for implementation...
For raiding...You run "Starter Raid X" and get all the loot from it on XBox and then you log onto PC. Can you get loot from that raid on the PC? Can you repeat the process again on PS4? I would wager "no" but I suppose it's that manner of account management that they would need to keep track of.
I doubt it's just an "Activision being greedy" thing.

See I have trouble with the switch some too. And I love that thing but the size of the joycons limit how long I can play it undocked. I can play all day fine using the pro controller though.

Literally all information about your character is stored server-side. There is no technical reason cross-save could not happen between all three supported platforms. If I had to guess the I'd say the only reason it isn't is political.
yeah cross save would be a sneaky way to get me to buy it twice. Most of my PC gaming friends are also WoW/blizzard only folks, and I think it'd be a lot of fun to introduce them to Destiny raiding. Their FPS skills are questionable (based on Overwatch) but Destiny raid mechanics will be kid stuff for them.
DestinyGAF is really good and I had a lot of fun playing with them, so I'd rather not leave them behind even though I'm sure 99% will stay with PS4. Although their mindset towards raids was a little weird at first. I'm used to people looking up strategies ahead of time in MMO raids, but in this case it was the opposite, nobody wanted 'spoilers'. Still, made for a good moment when everyone saw Oryx come out for the first time.
