Me neither. I believe it even has a chance on US and Japan, but europe situation is pretty bleak.I don't see how this could be turned around anymore.

Wii U is fucked. Not Nintendo.
Yes, here we definitely go. I don't think it's that stupid not to have stocked Pikmin 3, despite the chart position. Wii U is beyond saviour in the UK and it's not even been a year. This thing's gonna die faster than GC did at retail, and all Nintendo has to thank for this is itself. Bravo, Nintendo. Serves you right.andherewego.gif
Still, stupid to not even stock Pikmin 3 XD
I did not know that.
Crazy.
Still too early to say, Nintendo could still pull it back from the brink as they did with the 3DS.
Which is what I find weird. The Wii u was selling great in America in the first month or so. Was it selling bad in the UK in the first few months?3DS has never, never, EVER been in such a dire situation. It was in a bad situation, but this is another level of bad. Heck, IIRC, Vita didn't see stores not stocking it anymore so soon after launch, did it?
Well sega broke records with the dc launch at leastTheir future consoles are probably fucked as well. With the U's performance, I'd say their image as a console maker has taken a huge hit. Microsoft and Sony are the "go to" guys now, while Nintendo is becoming the next Sega.
Not sure how you could have missed it? Are the smaller stores not Walmart branded then?

The Wii U sells for as little as £150 (new) in the UK
Price cuts don't work
I work for the company that owns ASDA... They have had abysmal levels of games for Wii U on the shelf. When it launched... I saw about 20 people come in to pick it up. This is bad... Wii U has potential.
"Understand if old" made me chuckle good.

How much longer until these become GameCube status in the UK (£99)?

Could, but Nintendo's bread and butter where they barely have competition sales wise is their handheld division, Wii blew a massive wad at launch then cooled down overall, I'm seriously not seeing how they could do a comeback beyond trying to reach Gamecube levels of sales, especially with the hype of the new shiny consoles with a constant stream of new games in November and beyond.
You guys buy your video games when you go grocery shopping?
Lol neither of the last 2 are trueWhy do the British hate the wiiU so much? Its picking up in Japan and starting to turn around in the US.
I live in America.
Not all stores are Walmart branded. I have a superstore near me and there's no additional branding aside from Asda.
3DS still had pretty much whole monopoly in terms of dedicated handhelds.Sony is "just there" with PSP/Vita.
Now in home console ecosystem you have HD twins with great library and two next-gen systems that everyone is raving about.
I just think WiiU is an unappealing product in the eyes of average person.
No it isn't. It's fucked everywhere. Why do the British hate the wiiU so much? Its picking up in Japan and starting to turn around in the US.

Oh well that sucks but why are they not stocking the 3ds in store? It had a bad launch in the UK. From what I remember one of the lowest sales numbers over the first weekend for a new console.
The software isn't there yet, it will be in a few months. The complaints about the Wii U are pretty similar to the 3DS.
Price and software. The 3DS price cut bumped sales a bit, but software is what really helped it gain momentum. Nintendo needs both.

Nintendo will have to put in a lot effort just to make it a gc. Its that badYou're right of course, but I remain hopeful that Nintendo will pull it back from the brink and not allow it to become another Gamecube.
I really do wish they were a lot more aggressive instead of just sitting back while their home console slowly dies.
Pikmin 3 spiked the sales in Japan and its stabilized in the US its not selling well in the US but its not still on a downward trend.Lol neither of the last 2 are true
Its still bombing in both

It is a shame. I worked for GAME last Christmas and after the initial week or so (maybe less) hardly anyone bought a Wii U title.
Nobody understood what it was. Whenever people asked where the new Wii games were, we had to explain that they weren't being produced anymore because of the Wii U. They were completely shocked. Most people genuinely thought the gamepad was just an accessory for the Wii.
The fact they haven't made an official price cut makes it seem like Nintendo have almost given up

Is this a joke post or rose tinted Nintendo fanboy glasses? Wii U is screwed pretty much everywhere. It's at such a low that the only way from here is up, and even then, it's going to go up a little and fall off the side of a cliff. Why do the British hate the wiiU so much? guys im really worried about nintendo
