For me every episode is better than the previous one and I don't know how they do it because every time a see one I say this is the best of the season.

I think they've done a really great job with this half season so far. It's much much stronger than last year; it really does feel like every episode has been better than the last.

I do have an issue though. The idea that he could just sit in a Denny's in the flash forward in ABQ and no one would recognize him seems a little far fetched when he is one of the most wanted men in the country.

Yes and no. When he left he was still the bald-headed, instantly recognizable Heinsenberg and the media frenzy was still absolutely iron-hot and thus still in the bulk of the public consciousness. Now he looks like a frail man with a mop and it's at least two months later when things would have quieted down a bit in the public mindset of citizens..

Yeah as much as I don't think that newsroom best actor win was deserved, last half season felt like exactly that. It was a half season where a lot of setup occured. It definitely isn't as big of slap as Cranston losing for Season 4 which is just awful

True, it just seems like such a huge risk for him when he seems so set on revenge, unless he really doesn't care if he gets caught at all.

Jeff Daniels' submission was better than Cranston's submission.

No matter how many problems The Newsroom has, Daniels is fucking fantastic and was a better choice than Cranston for the win.

Cranston is a guaranteed lock next year.

Do we know which scene Cranston submitted? And yes I don't think there is any way anyone can top him this year, but then again I thought the same of Season 4.

Yeah, 5a was good but 5b is superb quality, it's like a completely different league.

There are quite a fucking few that I think Cranston should submit. So hard to pick!

The previous 3 episodes have all been worthy in their own rights. Probably the episode in which he takes Holly though, but damnit ... the fake tape blaming Hank was good ... so was when Walt thought Jesse found his money ....

I'm thinking there's a good reason why Todd mentioned they have hundreds of gallons of methylamine in their compound. And that is bolded:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/methylamine said:
a colourless flammable water-soluble gas, used in the manufacture of herbicides, dyes, and drugs. Formula: CH 3 NH 2

Man, I feel like I just heard a spoiler, but i guess that was inevitable
that walt and jesse are going to be in the end? Obviously walt will be there, but this pretty much confirms Jesse lives to the end, right?

Not at all, all he was saying was that they read the final episode together which they both were in.

Id say that was a given at this point.

Agreed. I honestly don't look back on season 5.A all that favorably, (not that I by any means disliked it) because it mostly just felt like, well, the first half of a season. I think it'll appear much stronger when viewed as a whole when combined with 5.B.

Ozymandias, Granite State, and Confessions are all emmy worthy

Best part is that for the Best Drama Emmy, five episodes are submitted.

"Blood Money", "Confessions", "To'hajiilee", "Ozymandias, "Granite State" - just give it to them now

"Felina" doesn't even have to be good! But I have no doubts of its quality whatsoever.

Jesse has nothing to live for anymore. There's no way he survives past the poetic justice of killing Walt. Must top himself afterwards.

He has brock. He might find a way to raise him. Or he might just book town go to Alaska like planned or New Zelaland.

Yeah, Meth Labs are notorious for exploding, and so far, I don't think that's happened. Well, except when the purposefully set fire to Gus' Superlab.

This show is probably going to end so darkly

Walt dead/very close to dead
Jesse completely broken with him probably wanting no human contact ever again
Brock alone probably living with grandma

I don't think anyone else in the White family will die, but they will likely end up with less then they started the show with which is the complete opposite of what Walt wanted.
