While the creator is a terrible person, that doesn't necessarily make the webcomic itself bad.
I mean don't get me wrong, the webcomic is awful. But stuff like this shouldn't really factor into that in my opinion.

I have to agree with those who posted Awkward Zombie and said it was one of the best. Her art is great and she's genuinely funny. I love the expressions she draws. I offer up a few as an example and to get more people to check out the comic -
Love those expressions. As for bad comics, there are plenty out there... VG Cats really went to shit, but he still chucks out a decent one from time to time. But the worst one we all know of is the one we all know is the worst, and that's CAD.

Yeah. I keep thinking they wanted to abandon the comic itself to do PAX and PAR and such full time, but yeah...didn't work out so hot for them.

I'd say CAD easily.. Which makes me sad, cause I used to LOVE the series way back when. Even owned the first season pass (which I forgot to watch half of those episodes. lol). I stopped reading the comics like 5+ish years ago. Looks like I got out at the best time too.
Anyways, for best: Castle Vidcons and Brawl in the Family are my favorites. Brawl one feels special to me slightly as I remember reading them before it was actually a comic site back on IGN when the author just made them randomly one day.

With this one, I just feel bad for her. It's obvious she's just a weeb who wanted to express herself and her love of her hobby. I mean you can look at how often they've been updated/released to see it was nothing more than a little bit of harmless passion sprinkled with a little narcissism.
Awkward Zombie my absolute favourite! Consistently funny, and I'd also recommend following Katie on twitter too. =D
I don't mind VGCats' humour, but apparently he's not a good guy, and rarely updated., (Even when he wasn't moving house/starting a family/whatever he's doing)
As for worst? CAD. Nothing else needs to be said.

It's rather amusing how his comics have degenerated to wallowing in self-pity. His ego is quite inflated and even after all that has happened, still never stops producing juvenile caricatures and making the basest of straw man arguments.

Penny Arcade used to be great but I can't stand it now, they lost the subtly that made them so good in the first place. VG cats at least have a very decent artwork but it also lack subtly when it comes to jokes and subject matters.
And man, why do some hate on Zero Punctuation here? I think it can be really hilarious.

I'll just vote for CAD solely on that massive fuck you to the readers that the writer did with the strip reboot. That could not have been handled any worse.
I don't know why his weird sexual antics and flat-out plagiarism didn't bother me before that, but looking back...yeah, it really was a pile of shit.

It's super easy to rag on CAD. Here are a couple that are overdue:
GU Comics is the king of talking-heads comics, and the characters are hideous. You can see he uses a lot of Photoshop effects, giving us a perfect example of the idiom "polishing a turd".
Sorry, I edited the dialogue in this one. That one character said that one line and I couldn't resist.
Here's Dueling Analogs. The art is pretty hard to look at, and the jokes are joyless and awful. Okay, this is an old strip, but I'm posting it because at one point the guy used Jessica from the first frame as a vertical ad for his comic.... like we were supposed to find it sexy and come running to his comic.

I don't get what's bad about it? Clearly the comic is not meant to be funny, it's part of a story arc or something. If I wanted to make an example of it being a bad gaming comic I would grab an unfunny gaming strip...

It presented a critical moment and a serious, grim subject with the same timing and tact as a punchline to a joke. It also didn't help that it wasn't a comic known for tackling serious life issues in its plot.
