Well, we know the documents are from February 2012.

Since large structural changes are unlikely, I imagine the clock rates are the main thing that could have changed.

i really don't get what i'm supposed to be seeing here. superdae is a marketing plant for microsoft or something?

So this is a guy who tried to sell a devkit? What reason would this guy have to be secretive with the winking and nudging about his info?

Aegies said the info he got was from February 2012. Who knows if Microsoft did any updates to the hardware. Remember it was until recently Orbis was updated.

Also isn't this the guys who is also working with Kotaku?

GAF aka the sony fanboy jackass forum is convinced Orbis is going to destroy durango in power, can you please offer a rebuttal?
lol... what.

and why doesn't he spill the current spec info?

That is true. But I found Ilherre refusing to comment further really odd.

His comment about specs remaining the same was already pushing it. We know he's under NDA, he probably just wanted to remove himself from the situation before he gave anything bigger away.

If he tried to, or did sell an NDA'd to hell and back next gen Dev kit, why can't he just spill the beans on what he knows? It's not like that would be bad as eBay'ing a dev kit lol.

But in any case, I do think Microsoft will have updated their console in some way. Doubt they'd want to take the current paper power difference lying down.

The same reason "insiders" on this forum will point to alleged inaccuracies or inconsistencies but won't provide the correction: attention.

In addition to knowing less than they proclaim.

If true then does that mean console production hasn't ramped up? If so then how likely are we to see a decent launch in 2013? By decent I mean not having an armed guard escort you from the store provided you're the one person in your city to get one because of their scarcity.

Man is would be awesome if MS step and match the ps4 gpu and sony match the x720 ram size.

that would be AWESOME! Hype!

I can see you've already picked what rumor to believe in.

I don't believe in any until MS or Sony release it. But this "thing" I especially don't believe in. SuperFake

It would be disappointing if Sony matched the RAM size, unless it's 8GB of gddr5 RAM, in which case that's not even matching them that's blowing way by them.

I'm not sure how this could be true. I mean we definitely expect some stuff to change since last February, I'm just not sure how much could change to really beef durango up to parity. most likely it's just clock speed like someone else mentioned earlier.

Though that makes me curious if Sony could do the same.

I hate to be that guy and destroy some dreams, but the man with the "Accurate" tag strongly implied that the specs haven't changed.

Wait didn't we just get confirmation that the alpha, beta, and final kits didn't change all that much? That the information from February is pretty much the final specs?

If I had to guess, I would say the GPU is now clocked up and the RAM situation has changed.

Clocked up for both CPU and GPU would be more likely than the ram situation totally changing. Possible but that's a big change.
