The Souls series has a horrible framerate, yet it is not held to the fire like this. From what I have seen, there is nothing that approaches Blight Town levels of bad. So as long as it does not constantly perform worse than that, then I will be fine.
You keep saying that. Blighttown is a single area in a huge game. The rest of the game runs fine, and that is a game that requires more finesse than AC. How come one is perfectly playable and the other a stuttery mess?
You don't seem to realize that this is what you're gonna get all the time whenever there are huge crowds, or in other words, the whole city. If Dark Souls' world was Blightown alone you would have a point, but that's just a single area in a huge game. It was awful, a hindrance and a pain in the ass, sure. But after you were done with the Witch you never had to go back.
AC3 pissed me off so much. The game actually ran ok when you were by yourself, in the frontier or in the homestead. Quick travel to NY----> stutter central. It was like that throughout the entire game, all cities were like that.
