There should be a dry-funny comment after accidentally, successfully doing a barrel roll and different stunts.
This is looking great, Rally is probably the one and only motor sport I think is exciting to watch and see. And most of all play.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe you can go male or female co-driver. I believe they're actual people from the rally scene as well. I liked the female one from the video I saw, she sounds a lot more chill than DiRT Rally's one.

Yeah, Im actually loving the look of the interface and UI, seems like a lot has been done to improve the career aspects of the game.
250 Reais, (roughly 80 dollars) on the Brazilian PSN. I really don't understand why Codemasters translates everything to Brazilian Portuguese when their prices are so ridiculous here. F*ck, Dirt Rally still costs that on the PSN. Thank God I can play on the PC.

Side note: I've been thinking about the procedurally generated tracks a lot. I wonder if there will be some kind of co-pilot simulator that just reads out the upcoming turn characteristics. I could see myself losing hours on an endless mode with that.

I hope we can take those crosskarts on rally tracks. Be a shame if they are only on rallycross tracks. Whole reason I found out about crosskarts in the first place was because they started to appear at rally and hillclimb events.

There is a limit to the length of a generated track though. I think they said ~15 minutes (or was it 20??) will be the most you can get out of it per stage (and that's gonna a narrow one with a gazillion corners). In DiRT Rally I think Pikes Peak was the longest and that's about 11 minutes

Maybe he can't speak Japanese? No japanese language skills often leads to zero chance of getting a job in Japan, if i am to assume the position he sought for was based in japan. Not saying that is the reason but it is a possibility.
if what they've been saying all along is true, that dirt 4 can be just as hardcore sim as rally was, then the game will kick all sorts of ass. but i have to say, all the trailers just scream sequel to dirt 3 arcade style "hooning". Not that dirt 3 was a bad game, but if the series reverts away from the awesomeness of rally i'll definitely be disappointed. hopefully i'm just worrying for nothing.

Nice video but I think the message would have been delivered in a more meaningful way with longer clips from cockpit POV. Having pro drivers talk about fear, adrenaline, crashes, blind corners interspersed by brief miscellaneous replay footage was a missed opportunity.
Many new gameplay videos appeared on youtube, it looks like a perfect Dirt Rally sequel.
Really warms my heart. Dirt Rally has been such a refreshing throwback to the CMR days of Codemasters.

- The distraction elements sound interesting. (drones, animals, crashed cars, etc.)
- The track creator seems to work really well. I wonder just how many pieces the system can throw together before you notice any real repetition.
- The rally tracks that go through the town in Spain <3
- The surrounding rally atmosphere/presentation is improved over Dirt Rally, which is one of the few complaints I had about that game.

Really!? i feared this would be the case but everyone else has said its an evolved physics handling model from dirt rally. can you elaborate?
I like rallycross. The problem is that the tracks are usually not enough to the real potential of the cars, and the small number of tracks makes it a shallow experience.

I think Dirt Rally might still be better simulation yeah, but that's just after 90 min session (only 30 in Sim Mode). I'm playing some more Dirt Rally now to draw a more exact comparison come review. This is more beautiful though and randomizer is much better than expected, so cool a feature.
