looks insane. Sony 1st parties are amazing
Yes, let's try this again.
There are two threads!!
Curious about this. FF15 was a great HDR title and I'm looking for more of that on my Pro.Great video as always! I do have a question, though. How does the HDR look?

Can you compare it to other games using HDR like FF15 or Forza Horizon 3?Extremely good. The HDR implementation is absolutely excellent.
This downsamples right?
Hmmm, FF15 was pretty intense but it sometimes crushed blacks. The Witness is still one of my favorites for HDR.Can you compare it to other games using HDR like FF15 or Forza Horizon 3?
Maybe I'm missing the info, but what about downsampling?
Glad I just upgraded from a 32" 720p to a 48" 1080p.

Nope! 8 days to wait and need to go in as blind as possible!
For starters, for players who still possess standard 1080p HDTVs, were able to offer far better image quality. Weve got a number of techniques at our disposal. The most logical one is supersampling. This is a very high-quality anti-aliasing technique, which basically means we internally render at a higher resolution (close to 4K) before shrinking it down to the final 1080p resolution. As our internal calculations are done at a resolution much higher than 1080p, more detail survives before we shrink it down to 1080p, resulting in smoother edges virtually no jaggies and a more stable image.
I can't wait to see what Sucker Punch have been cooking either. Infamous Second Son looked amazing for a launch window title.
"Technical masterpiece" compared to what other game on PS4 and PS4 Pro? Uncharted 4? The game does have top notch tech, but there are several aesthetic issues I have from watching game footage.
One thing that's interesting, the game still has no patch. It's so rare to see a game with no patch notes available.
I know it'll have a small day 1 patch (~250mb) but it's cool that they shipped a game in such great shape.
The reason I bought my Pro and my KS8000.
If I get a pro but not a 4K tv will I see enough difference over a reg PS4 on my 1080p tv?
Thanks! 2160 checkerboard with these visuals and performance is damn impressive. For those asking, downsampling was confirmed for this ages ago.

Haha, this made me laugh for some reason. I don't mean to be an ass, you should've ended your post with #tvgoalsGlad I just upgraded from a 32" 720p to a 48" 1080p.

Wait for news about downsampling. It's what's worrying me as well. I don't have a 4k tv.
