Haha, being inside the car when that stuff happens is awesome.

One thing I've noticed, and I've seen it a few times now. The car starts flipping the wrong way after doing a barrel roll or coming down hard. It's like the crash physics reverse suddenly.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday after disconnecting from the internet. I think one of the patches might be responsible for that.

How much of those club unlocks would have been unlocked if one would have been able to join a club right at the start? To be honest I think it's stupid that essential unlocks are hidden away behind a online/social component.
I don't care for that stuff and hate being forced to endure it

Yeah it'd be one thing if the cars were mediocre, but the GTI and Mono help a ton with some of the tour events.

If you have black bars around the screen then you haven't configured your PS4 display settings. There's bo way to override it in game, you have to go to the PS4 settings to change it.

Once you're set there I find the dash cam to be the best combination of feeling like I'm in the drivers seat and still getting good visibility. The cockpit camera is interesting, but it feels odd having my steering wheel eight feet in front of me and in my field of view (when I'm actually driving I have to look down to see it.)

I think I've connected twice at unreasonable times during 6 days. I'm glad most of the content is not locked away behind the online stuff, otherwise I would be bitching to SCEA customer service for a refund.
