I honestly feel like they didn't even do her likeness justice. Stefanie Joosten is way prettier than Quiet turned out to be I think, so I never really cared for that crap in the game too.

There's a shit ton wrong with it and it's explained for the past two years and it's a video game isn't a fucking excuse. Goddamn. It's 2017. "It's a video game" is borderline saying "I prefer to be treated in the least common denominator and most unintelligent way possible. Because thinking is hard." It's gaming culture self-defeatism at it's core.
AND??? Have some respect for this medium AND for it's creators. More of Kojima's sexism/misogyny would fly in the face of everything seen so far and far more harmful to the game in the end.
We're gonna be waiting a long while for that (Hopefully I'm wrong though).
Also not calling fake yet. Even if it was it wouldn't surprise me if she was in the game.

Yeah, sexual stuff in games are wrong,but blowing someone up with their guts/blood flying all over is okay!..If Kojima wants to put that stuff in his game,I'm fine with it,it's his vision/game.You don't have to like it.
Look at today's biggest female artists.Quiet pretty much wears more clothes than them.Let's not act like sex doesn't sell.It has for 100's of years and won't change anytime soon.

I know, but back then, the financial reward could have been more of a deciding factor to do a game rather than interest in the medium, and she might not have had the oppertunity to pick and choose projects where as now I bet she gets offers left and right... Looking at her IMDB page, it's the only game she's been in and has a lot of other stuff coming up. Just saying, rationally, it doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence she would be in Death Stranding just because it would be interesting or something different for her considering the fame she has now and the fact movie studios can offer a lot of money, unless Sony is involved in some degree.
But... the speculation about Mads turned out to be true, so...

It's funny considering how Kojima is one of the few game creators pushing for video games to evolve into something more respectful. It's one of the reasons why he's getting all these Hollywood actors together.

By your logic Dead or Alive extreme 3 is the most successful game of this gen and Horizon Zero Dawn should have less sales than it instead of the complete opposite being true. O sex sells, it sells very well, and it goes both ways. Saying it doesn't is being ignorant. There are whole industries based on selling sex. That being said, everything else you mentioned is on point.
I think the image is a fake leak. But I would love to have Emma stone in this game, even more so if she's a villain.

In the context of sex selling a video game that wants to be taken super seriously with women who're blatantly out of place compared to the rest of the cast. That equation doesn't work. The bolded is especially important as WAY more often than not the things women are doing in games RARELY have to do with actual sex as an activity. Consider the context of what constitutes as sex selling in terms of video games compared to film and music.
One that needs to be expanded because the excuses don't stop there.

Well you're not going to use sex appeal to sell everything, but you're also not going to see many representations of unattractive people either on main promotional material and that is a side effect of the former. So Alloy may not be sexualized but she is good looking as is just about every character in Horizon.

Actually, in Black Desert Online you can get your character to have hair that looks like that. Or close enough. It has the best character creator I've ever seen.

Just that 'sex sells' is generally more about associating your product with any sort of sex appeal / attractive people it doesn't really have to be about or contain actual sex.
Quiet in MGSV felt dumb/embarassing mostly because it didn't fit the tone of the game at all. If some dev wants to make Bikini Carwash Babes 5 or whatever that's not really a problem IMO.
All that said, this is probably fake, and even if it isn't the way Emma is dressed seems fine anwyay.
