Are people honestly interested in doing this? Tearing through the hardware and invalidating your warranty to upgrade the hard drive space seems like an awful proposition.

PS4 is double sided so it spreads the chips on each side, the Bone isn't so it is more complex, but requires simpler cooling.

So the Xbox1's wireless chip is a Marvell Avastar 88W8897, which supports 802.11ac (draft), NFC, & Bluetooth 4.0?! I was just wondering to myself last week, why didn't Sony go with the Marvell Avastar 88W8897 instead of the Marvell Avastar 88W8797.

The other downside of having a single sided motherboard is that it forces them to have an external PSU because there is not enough internal space left unless they make it mega sized.
